1. Most good items will go to RMAH.
2. Gold AH will be left with "not good enough for real money" items.
3. Purchasing from AH is a must to progress in Inferno.
4. Don't get too excited about 1.0.3. making Act 1 have 2% drop chance to drop the best items. First, it has to drop. Second, it has to be the item you need. Third, it has to roll good or great stats. There's a slim chance you'll get an upgrade (mildly said).
5. You will end up putting it on AH.
6. Go to #2. Repeat.
You don't HAVE to buy ANYTHING on either the RMAH or the GAH.
The game is BEATABLE without buying shit on the RMAH or the GAH, you're NOT SUPPOSED to beat inferno one month after release.
STOP acting like this is a competitive game where you show off your e-peen to your World of Warcraft buddies.
Diablo aint that kind of game, QUIT playing or STOP whining.
It's YOUR choice to PLAY the game or NOT.
tl;dr Diablo 3 != World of Warcraft.
Stop qqing like a 15year old because you're not satisfied with the game.
Diablo 3 = World of Warcraft, just an ARPG version of it. It's the reason why it pisses the shit out of me.
Why shouldn't I complain. Who's gonna stop me? You?

If you actually believe this, just go back to WoW, That statement is so far from the truth it's ridiculous......

No actually... they are completely different games right down to the damn mechanics. Have your opinion, but the two are different and yelling it over and over won't make it true.
And no, no ones going to stop you =D Go ahead and whine that you can't beat inferno yet.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
so another player that expected to beat inferno and have perfect gear within a few weeks without participating in the economy
If that was aimed at me, i'll simply state that assumptions are the mother of all fuck ups
So you made a false assumption about someone else's post (he's clearly referencing the OP) and used that false assumption as grounds to take a shot at people making assumptions...
That's actually kind of impressive.

I grew up gaming without internet forums. The entire phenomenon of being upset with a game developer makes no sense to me. No sense. I cannot imagine spending my time and energy being upset about something I choose to do for recreation.
My only complaint is the artifical barrier for melee in Inferno post A2. Due to that barrier, there is literally no way to beat anything in A3 and A4 without the AH. Even with amazing gear and over 30m gold, it is still a challenge. With that said, as time goes on, gold is devaluing quickly while item prices are inflating. The gear I purchased right as I hit 60 on my barb for under 200k, is now costing over 1m to 1.5m per piece.
Solution: Go farm items and sell them on the AH!
Answer: Nope, A1 and A2 Inferno items are completely worthless on the AH now. The only things worth selling off Butcher runs anymore are rings and amulets (which are statistically improbable to be good even when dropped, which is very seldom).
That leaves those who are stuck before A3 to gold farm, to which Blizzard is increasingly nerfing on a regular basis. Besides, why should I have to farm for literally days to find/afford a single upgrade, in a way that essentially isn't even playing the game the way it was designed to be played. Gold farming A1 yields less than 150k and hour, whereas gold farming A3 NM yields over 350k an hour. Meanwhile the exploiters who farmed A3 and A4 before the class nerfs farm Siegebreaker and make over 1m an hour selling quality loot while casually enjoying the game the way it was designed to be played. This isn't including the fact less and less gear is showing up in the GAH due to the RMAH.
The game is simply broken right now for those not already in A3-4 Inferno, who want to be there until 1.03 (assuming it actually allows for melee progression).
you don't have to put money into the rmah to use it. just treat it a regular auction house. sell stuff for your blizzard balance and use that balance to buy stuff. that's not too different from a gold auction house.
Yea they obviously need more money! Poor people must be starving, they must have been out of food for days to put the game out as cheap as they did!
And they only charge 1 Euro per transaction, that's like just 10 Euro for 10 auctions. Pocket change!!
Think I'm gonna start donating a % of my salary, they deserve it!

No one's forcing you to buy anything. But, we can't save you from yourself. Have a nice day.
Just an observation.

Don't use RMAH if you don't like it.
