First, i am not going to criticize my favorite gaming company, is just a tough.
With all this data mined info, and hacks and spoilers, i am really thinking, how much expectant are the players going to have? I personally view almost every spoiler and still wanna play the game, but what about the other players? Do you think Blizzard is loosing its control over hacker just before the game even launches? How will be hacked the game once it launches? I am afraid that hacker ruin the game, and that's just a part.
I am afraid that even before game launches we will know all the game like we just played it, wouldn't that be bad?
I would like to see any comments and toughs about this.
TBH the more I play the beta the more I think this game isnt that great. It feels like I am just solo farming for materials in world of warcraft, which I hate doing. Often times I find myself wondering if I am just suffering from Diablo 2 nostalgia, and in reality this game isnt that good.
I realize there will be new content on release, but at some point it will be the same as the beta. Continually farming the same mobs over and over. Its just like farming raid materials in WoW, except I don't get to have the fun of the raid afterwards.

"Just google "diablo 3 gold guide" and magical rainbow covered demons will assault your eyes."
I don't mind minor spoilers like art works etc, however I have refrained from looking at the boss fight images posted on the main page because I feel that will ruin alot of the first time gameplay for me.
But noone is forcing you to look at the datamined information.

Thats like telling an alcoholic he doesnt have to drink, and then suck down an entire case right in front of him.

Maybe not, but being the pictures in the front page of the site I come everyday, and having the whole community talking explicitly about the facts and "creatures" portrayed in the pictures is NOT helping, at all.

Yes I do agree with that, we can only try our hardest to avoid the information.

I kinda agree with you in some degree.
I think in the end Blizz made a really risky bet: remove the "mechanical" part of the game (like skill trees and stats, stuff that forces players to study the game mechanic) in order to open space for a "organic" gameplay.
However the gameplay is not organic enough to compensate for the void that was left behind. The game is excessevely arcade: simply mechanics, simple gameplay... It's just too simple ! In any part the game asks you to adaptate to circustances, to react to something.
I think D3 will turn out to be a good game. But the more I play, more I miss skill trees and stats allocation.

playing the first TINY portion of the entire game isnt even comparable, imagine playing the first 1/3rd of act 1 in D2, how insanely boring that would be? only being able to play up to tristram? lol....

Even though there are spoilers on the frontpage, you can still NOT fucking look! Bibi even darken the images and write SPOILER on them to avoid immediate spoilers upon seeing it...and the News Reporters write in big red letters "This [may] contain spoilers!!" at the beginning of every article. So it's your own damn fault for clicking on the links and reading/watching the stuff...it's only some retards that make a thread without saying this may contain spoilers in their heading or during a non-spoiler thread without a
A monkey walks into the bar...I forgot the rest but your mom's a whore!
thingy.
I personally try to avoid spoilers as much as possible, even though the temptation is right in front of my eyes.

That's because you are playing the beta, which is lvl capped at 13, and after that all you are doing is trying to improve things as best as possible within a small confined space. Once you are progressing, learning more storyline, actually able to use some of those high lvl items that you can craft, it's not the same. Also with inferno going to be stupid hard, it will add lots of replayability. Don't forget constant support, patches, new stuff being put in.
For me, this is the first diablo where I enjoy playing all the classes, and anticipating playing through each one to 60 with barbarian as my main.

Your only feeling this way because you DON'T have excess to even half the skills, or just half and NO runes. 2.4 trillion build combos remember? The RUNES is what makes the skill system, without them (beta) is nothing compared to the full game with them. Just be patient. Beta is beta. 1/48th of the full game, literally. Lmao

I stay away from all major spoilers sooo it's all fine for me cause I'm not going to spoil the story for myself and any of that. If the story is spoiled for me I will be epicly pissed.

Dataminded info is not hacking.. its simply viewing files thats already on your computer...
Emulation is still a bit off... but that was going to happen...on ANY game ever...
and hacks... uhh its in beta, on beta servers, they arnt even trying to prevent hacks right now... they wont be so easy to get by.
If you're coming to a fan site... you're going to get spoiled... even if you're trying to avoid it, its going to happen.

Ahh yes it is...
This is an addiction, just like alcohol.
And flaunting an addictive substance in front of an addict obviously leads to one outcome.
