That's IF it doesn't get pushed back again. Because, lets be honest, that's totally possible (especially with Blizzard we're talking about here). My brother keeps insisting June/July release and I'm going with March. Loser has to buy the other their copy of Diablo 3
Idk, I cannot see really long extensions given the fact the beta is out.
You thought killing the Skeleton King for 4 months sucked, try 10. Just seems ludicrous imo.

One is never hurt by being given additional choices, only by taking them away. A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
I do not know but I think it is going to be released in 2011 still. I was saying long before that it was going to be sometime in 2012 but seeing the beta in the state it is in that it is going to be done in 2011. I do know that they have encountered some issues when the beta was released most likely with things found by the internal testers. I think they are still working hard on a 2011 release but they just gave themselves some extra time to deal with the issues they are now facing.
We will find out at Blizzcon if it still has a chance in 2011. The timing for the release date would be quite low in timing but then again this is Blizzard and D3 and likely will not need that much of ramp up for marketing the game.

On Strike and supporting Fallout 4 Mod Makers
Some fallout 4 mod makers have had their mods stolen and uploaded and downloaded on Bethesda's site for the Xbox One.
They just stated that the new target is early 2012. It might just be a diversion from Blizzard to announce that the game will be released just before Christmas at Blizzcon at the closing ceremony.
1. The Beta is too small for lengthy play testing as noted by many play testers and many of them have quit within a week or two. The Beta looks more like a beta for the demo of the game.
2. No NDA on the Beta. That means Blizzard is likely done with the core of the game and just doing tweaks and to get the infrastructure ready for the launch. The Beta/Demo would be doing this ramp up until the release. No NDA will also help with the marketing of the game not only to us fans but to gamers in general since they can view the streams and you tube videos and it cost a whole let less to do than doing it themselves.
3. The community site is already showing some of the information of the game. Do note that there is a disclaimer that the data may change at any time. We have a skill planner and many of the items are in place. If they are devoting time to this that means the game is very close to release.

I want to pre-order, but not until I see that CE or what "perks" different retailers will be offering. WHY WHY did this have slip to 2012! I hope Skyrim lasts me some time. Also, we the other bubbles there, I truly feel there is legitimate excitement about a multi-platform release vs a PC only realase at this time. There is no doubt in my mind that almost every PC gamer will be clamoring for D3, but these console releases are appealing to the masses...why do you think the PC gets no real love any more? Cause the fan base is sitting on their couches staring at 50" tvs.
I hate TV, its the commercials that drives me crazy. I have no TV, but I will get a projector with USB and PC connections so I can watch DVD and bluray movies on a wall. Cinema Style! Im a Movie + PC + MAC kinda of a guy.
In the Americas alone:
Elder scrolls has 782,842 pre-orders as of last week.
Batman has 711,902 pre-orders as of last week.
Diablo 3 has 128,772 pre-orders as of last week.
I dont for one minute believe is coming out in Feb though. April at the very earliest. In fact, I wouldnt doubt if there were more delays.
I know several people who are waiting to preorder the game until the actual release date is announced. I have never seen a reason to preorder a game before I know the release date on it... I think a lot of other people feel the same way.

Where do you get Feb at the earliest? I would say mid-January at the "earliest"... Once the systems are in place. This beta is not to test game play, its to test acceptance in strange hardware configurations and bnet infrastructure/d3 bnet modules. Just saying I would not be a bit surprised if Jan 25th was the release date. I also wouldn't be in shock it if it was a month or two later, but I do not understand people saying April at the earliest, that just doesn't make sense to me. Why April?
I agree on the C/E and waiting till you actually know a release date. I have not preordered yet although I fully intend to get the C/E, I have a friend that has the same intent. Once we get a release date I am sure these numbers will blow up.
You know that any release date ATM is just silly speculation, right?
Blizzard may have an internal schedule right now, but as they decided to push the game for 2012 in the first week of the Beta they don't have a solid idea right now for a release date, otherwise they would keep the 2011 estimative and decide to push it a little if needed. The predicted release date it's still too volatile and subject to changes, no need to try to "predict" it right now.
We may predict a little better when we stop seeing radical changes in the Beta such as the weapon-dmg based skills and the DH resources and start seeing more people getting invited without many changes just to test the server stability.

not sure I follow...but continue to use vague internet speak and we will all be enlightened.
