What I mean is, how much of the actual game is located on the player's computer? The client has been datamined extensively by now so I thought you'd start seeing people revealing how much of the actual game is client side. Lets say for example the textures, NPC's, monsters, character creation is all located on the computer, and the items and monster AI is located on the server. Then you think it would be possible for someone to come up with some rudimentary AI for the monsters and at least non-beta people would be able to explore the world and kill stuff. Even if no items dropped it would be a good start.

Apparently, someone found out the "secret" level from datamining it.

Eaasssily could be wrong but I think I remember someone saying that items, characters, and dungeon creature/spawn info are all server side to prevent cheating, get people online, and prevent some character issues that existed in the past.

I don't stand behind this. It's fuzzy.
Yeah, I read a lot about how something like half the game was gonna be handled server side. I'm just trying to remain optimistic that somehow it gets cracked.. Being able to make a character and run around in the world would be cool even if there was no monster/items/npcs. It's just strange that no one is stating how much of the game is actually on the client side, you think by now they'd know definitively if it was possible.
Everything after the beta as far as coding goes was removed, this is just text strings they didn't remove for some reason. Even if you had a fully accessible cracked version of the beta, it'd take you to Leoric still and the game would end.
As for how hard the beta is to crack, I really don't know, I'd imagine it'd be in the works if possible, and on that note, we're discussing cracks to a blizzard game.
