I dont want to see ANY LORE!!!! in beta. IF I do I will probably shoot someone in the face and that would be bad.
I agree with you(the no LORE part), when I saw the trailers of Sarcraft 2 , which contained only cinematics from the campaign, I was much disapointed. Or when I opened the art book and saw the Kerrigan of the LAST cinematic... WTF
I hate to know what's going on before I play it, but some infos on the charaters, the way items will appear on them, items customizations and PvP are things I would like to know.
The problem with hiding everything is that it makes it very inconvenient to read the information. As well as make the article look very odd.
From the poll it seems quests, lore, areas, and maybe monsters should be hidden. I personally think quests, lore and areas should always be hidden with non-boss monsters okay to show. Ultimately, you guys have to make that decision. Having used teamliquid.net for many years, I've gotten used to reading threads with spoiler tags. I think it's pretty easy to get used to. Example hiding pro game match results: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=216684 This same idea can be adapted here where everything is shown except the story related stuff at the bottom in one spoiler tag with sub-spoiler tags for more and more "spoilage" hehe. (Monsters being least spoiler, quests being the most.)
If there is lore in the beta and real in game quests in the beta, I simply won't play the beta, but I want to know everything besides lore areas and quests because i want it to be a surprise when i get into the game.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
Things will be labeled, but using the tags just makes for bad articles. It depends on the extent of the spoilers, but chances are things will be labeled as 'lore' or 'monsters' and they will be kept separate from other stuff, but you'll just have to scroll by it.
What I love about any RPG is building myself up, but through my own skills and abilities, and so I'm dying to know all about the skills, the rune effects and all about the classes, next, I guess traits and of course being that we know so much about D3 (sarcasm) I want to know WHAT the game is- ALL the mechanics, how the work, how they are, etc. and of course the gameplay, everything I could live without, spoilers won't make or break it for me, be they be lore, quests, etc, it doesn't bother me if they are revealed but I prefer to know about the above stuff first.
So, should be expecting the Beta info thread next week?

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
I basically don't want lore and quests ruined. Besides that everything should be okay. I don't think Blizzard is wanting to ruin things storyline wise anyways.
Spoiler tags are always a good idea though. If you THINK it might be a spoiler, then it probably is.
Well, keep in mind that Blizzard has already said that they themselves are keeping most of the game a secret still so its not like you will ever see a post about Tyrael becoming the lord of hell.

Huh? It was just an example of stuff we won't be seeing during the beta. Bashiok made it pretty clear that they don't want spoilers in the beta just as much as most people don't want to see them.
My vote FOR went to personal play experience. The vote against - for PVP.
But i have some additions:
I would like if you Scyber or Force or any of you guys could wrote something about how it feels when you double click on the D3 shortcut, the opening credits, the Blizz logo, the UI, the feel of just being in the game, looking at your char. Does the feel of Diablo 3 suck you in? What does Diablo 3 looks like in new graphics, in new resolution. Do you have a feeling you could just walk around in Tristram and looking with great concetration on all the small details...
Tell us some info on the how did the new battle.net integrated with the game...
Dunno why, but in that kind of stuff am i most interested in at the moment.
Had i dream i got D3 beta last night... damn
I think personal play experience will be a big part of our coverage. This includes personal feelings about playing the game and the feel of everything.
@Ansl - the only problem with that is that we then have to two articles which is that much more time consuming. On top of that, these articles would still have to posted on the forums in which people who do not want to read them will still run into them.
As of right now, I think we are going to go with a just a very noticeable spoiler warning at the top and bottom of spoiler sections so people can avoid it easily if they want but it won't distract those who do.
Example:
Classes -
The Demon Hunter has this skill that I used a lvl 7. It exploded into awesomeness and ripped off the heads of demons.
Quests -
*Spoiler*
On the first quest I got, the Demon hunter was recruited by some stranded militia to get them back to Caldeum safely
*Spoiler*
Items -
A pair of unique pants dropped that gave me +1000 dmg.

Lore? gameplay? Because these two aspects are covered in the other options I suppose.
As of right now, each person on the news team will be covering at least one specific class to make sure we get all of the information for that class.
