I just think that single player could be played online with our friends and fans game. You could login BNET with your char and look for friends online. But the character of his friend could not be more than 5 lvl more than you., "maximum of 5 lvl difference", and the difficulty would be increased because it would be fun to die with his friend and say "damn, we had to kill that bastard before ! come again ! go go go !"
So...would be possible finish the game online?!
Why not ?! but play online would be much more difficult! much ! i think, die with your friend is so much fun!
because you completed a mission and your friend not, you can log into the game from his friend and help him taking the chance, besides getting more items, more XP. :miner: "Come back you're gonna die, gets close to me! OMG! is so nice to think that!
Itens drop? gold? XP?...That things are simple to solve.
I'm sure bliz can do it if she wants...
Something like that...
Most of what you say makes absolutely no sense. Single Player is offline, and thats if it even available. No way they would ever allow you to use offline characters online, that is just stupid, unless there is an Open BNET thing like D2.
Other than that, I'm just going to assume you're drunk or something, for your sake.

That's called multiplayer. It's an all new system blizz is implementing that has never been done in gaming before. Your wish will be granted.
It is depressing that it will be like Starcraft 2, where it's required that you have access to an internet connection once a month to even play. And the whole "achievements" thing... and LAN tossed out the window which throws modders and military under the bus a hundred times...
If you're talking about transporting Single Player characters to Battle.net, then that probably won't be possible. Single player should be playable offline, which means that the characters are saved on your computer. As long as they're on your system, they can be altered. Altered characters can lead to un-fun multiplayer situations.
if it's like Starcraft II (that i think it will be) the saved characters, even for single-player will be on the battle.net servers (very much as the player profile for SC2) and you "could" play with them online anyway since they're on battle.net and you're connected. The game itself is pretty much the same in single-player and multi-player coop.
Now i think there will also be an "offline" mode for the game, similar to the SC2 (again) where you log in as "guest" and what you do awards no achievements etc.

Holy balls, that sounds amazing!!! But its a bit far fetched, i mean, how is that even possible?
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.
There is offline single player, but it's something we're going to attempt to discourage as best as possible.
A lot of us, myself included, and probably a lot of you and your friends had the exact same Diablo II experience. You get the game, start playing, your friend says let's try co-op, and when you log in your characters aren't there. After a slight freakout moment and potentially some use of Webcrawler to search the World Wide Web with Netscape 6, you realized or figured out that you had to start over. That's actually an experience that can cause someone to stop playing the game. Maybe you or I let out a huge sigh, and maybe a brief mourning period after realizing the last 60 hours were completely wasted, but we pressed on. That's not the case for everyone. Maybe most people. I actually refused to start over for a while and continued on in single-player before finally jumping on Battle.net. Who knows what a lesser man would have done...
So, if we can get people online and creating character on Battle.net from the get-go, there's less chance of that catastrophe. But there's still a play offline option, if you should need it.

A little notice in very small font saying... "Remember, offline characters are unable to log into Battle.net, preventing you from playing co-op and PvP."
... SHOULD do the trick. But some people just don't understand I suppose.
This is like the warning on hair dryers about not using it underwater or some crap like that.
My point is they really need to stop giving a damn about that kind of things. Build up some common sense, otherwise let common sense strike them in the face a few time and they will learn like we all do. Or not. Still not a reason to care.

And MY point was, that there ARE people that are dumb enough to put hair dryers in water. And they want people to keep using their hair dryers... Or in Blizzards case, play their games..
Not giving a dam wouldn't make them Blizzard. These things are done for a reason and, well, not everyone on this rock we call Earth HAS common sense. Haha. They wanna sell to the intellectuality challenged as well.
Damn ... So if I understood well, it probably will be anyway, we can not put our char on BNET, that bad. and we have to create 2 chars, one online and one offline? is it? This is totally stupid. :yucky:
I do not know if you guys know the game the settlers 7 you necessarily need to have a connection to play ... or as my friend spoke up on Bnet need to login periodically to "update" your character, something like that. today it is easy for a company like bliz make this type of procedure. regardless of how it will be, I just wish could play with my char both offline and online ... it's more fun have company, trade items, build a strategy for killing certain boss...I do not know if I could make you guys understand my feeling..

You don't HAVE to make an offline character. You can just play a game on your BNET character with a password on the server. You don't always have to play with friends on BNET.
I really hope there aren't achievements for "offline" single player. Else we're looking at that whole "ban people for cheating in single player" fiasco from SC2 again, which also implies "ban mods".

Oh damn... really?
No one was banned for using cheats in single player. Blizzard has even put their own cheats in the single player version of the game!

But seriously... i didn't got the op idea. Can someone explain it in better form?
Either you're not making any sense, or you're greatest dreams have just come true.
