Diablo III Wins Best Audio at GDC Online
Diablo III has won the award for Best Audio at this year's Game Developer Choice Online Awards! For the occasion the sound department has gathered up in front of the orc statue at their Anaheim headquarters for a nice picture!
Diablo III has recently taken home the honor of Best Audio for an Online Game at the 3rd Annual Game Developers Choice Online Awards. This particular achievement "recognizes the overall excellence of audio in an online game including sound effects, musical composition, and overall sound design for an online title."
A big congratulations to all the folks at Blizzard who helped bring the sounds of Sanctuary to life for their hard work, passion, and commitment to making every pitch perfect.
We'd also like to give a /salute to other nominees in the "Best Audio" category and to GDC Online for their epic support of the online gaming industry!

Rares and Champions in Act 4
This particular bug fix will only affect Rare and Champion variety, not density. Rares and Champions are rolled randomly every time a dungeon or area is spawned, and the above monster types were simply added to the list of eligible monster types. (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
One question that is probably asked before, but those MP level increasements, are they based on the current (1.04) hp/damage of monsters (so MP1 has 130% hp as opposed to a 1.04 A3 mob)? Would make sense, but i heard somewhere that MP lvl 3/4 is similair to current mobs, so just checking.
No, they are based on the new standard Act 3 which is far easier than 1.0.4(mobs have about half the health).

Ha. Bagstone.
Maybe voice acting isn't included. The sound effects and music are very good (one of the few redeeming factors of D3's launch quality).
