I'm really concerned about this. This may also mean that somehow the current MF workings will change. As in all MF gear will, maybe, be nerfed for their current MF value or simply removed entirely. Really scared about this.
Personaly, I would guess your MF will still work just as well as it did.
However, it will be less valuable in a way, as if you have 300% mf, then you can expect 4x the rares to a 0mf char, but if you have 300% +100% from paragon and the 0MF char gains 100MF from Paragon (or whatever), then you will only get 2.5x the rares that he does.
Maths might not be right, but the general idea should be.
The maths is right. The general idea is wrong. Measuring the ratio of pre-MF rares to post-MF rares is spurious. MF will return (per point) exactly the same number of rares and therefore give you exactly the same return on investment.
Starspine going from Legendary to Rare, and some other crafted Legendaries either not changing or having very weak changes....
Crafting is definitely meant to be very niche in application, more just to help people get into Inferno. Damn
Edit: Thanks so much for the work on bringing this info to us!
I ever wondered how DFans get these unnoficial patch notes before the patch is out...
Anyway, the new endgame system was targeted for 1.1, wasn't it? I hope these Paragon stuff are not just the strings so the next patch will only enable the system.
I really think it would be strange for Blizzard releasing a whole new mechanic without even announcing it first, as we have already had an announcement for an announcement for the announcement of this patch 1.0.4 notes before, so they pretty much like to announce everything they can to build hype.
The Gargantuan attacks for 100% (up from 25%) of your weapon damage as Physical.
-> Wrathful Protector : Summon a more powerful Gargantuan that only lasts for 15 seconds. The Gargantuan's fists burn with fire, dealing 110% (up from 55%) of your weapon damage as Fire and knocking enemies back.
Shitty deal i guess.
especially when cleave gargantua does 130% weap dmg
seriously did they even read what they changed? i mean SERIOUSLY ?
instead of constant 130% weap dmg im gonna take 15 sec once every min to do less dmg ? sure why not it says more powerful im gonna pick this 1
that glyph should have 500% dmg or sth like that
1 min - 130% dmg (10k dps) so 13k hits every 1.5 sec (assuming) so 40x13 = 520k dmg
15 sec - 110% dmg (10k dps) so 11k hits every 1.5 sec so 10x11 = 110k dmg
how is that even close to beeing equal .. its like a skill in a totally diff league why the fu*k would i even consider using that skill if it does ~5 times less dmg ?

Yeah, I know of the slip on the brazillian forums (I'm brazillian by the way). Hope Rhastion didn't have any trouble by posting too much in the translation.
But officially it hasn't been any announcement of these new levels. I think they would rather build a hype first than release it than making it a surprise.
I hope I am not the only person upset with wiz changes. I am hoping there is more to come, but if this is it then I will be very upset. All the did was buff hydra, what ever happened to ice and storm armor? Plus they had better buff the other ap spenders, but I don't think an extra 35% is enough to make them viable in inferno.
Is it possible to tell from the patch whether or not there were any changes to the basic Life on Hit/proc rates for various skills and runes? Also, any info about bug fixes? Thanks!

big fixes, and life on hit coefficients are not things we can datamine
(some big fixes we can sometimes due to maybe a new tooltip or what have you, but otherwise we need to wait for the official patch notes)
Can you add the update timestamps to the update texts at the top so I know when something has been added and if I've seen it already? If not retroactively then at least to the future updates.. can't always remember what I already checked
And people should really wait for the official patch notes before making any judgments of the patch...
Paragon system sounds fascinating but I can't help but feel a little concern that the main beneficiaries of it will be the botters. Surely bot running 24/7 = lots of xp earned = paragon levels earned faster than any normal player = more MF% than any normal player.
Here's hoping the legendary update brings a buff to the Immortal King's BANHAMMER! to accompany the patch.
first things first: thanks to every member of Diablofans, your job is appreciated!
I don't remember if I've seen so many changes during beta.
It's good to see that they are working hard on the game, but I cannot shake off the idea they released an incomplete revision scrapped togheter at the last moment to keep us happy.
At least the changes seems to go in the right direction, let's see how the game will play after patch release.
There is a huge DH buff hidden in there, because Blizz still aren't aware that there are some abilities that don't count as 'hits' for dropping sharpshooter. Fingers crossed that this is fixed in the patch also, but if not my DH will become about 6-7x more effective than current.

Time to try to resell for a fraction of what I paid.
- adding ilvl
- added set bonuses
- fixing +move spseed (it was missing)
- fixing a few other missis stats

Did you miss the part where it says "Unofficial"?

You can now view these on the item tooltips if you don't want to wait for me to update these by hand
,\keep in mind this is missing a few affixes, such as + damage (we have top men working on it)
