This gonna be sooo epic, Blizzard is removing one farming spot after another....How we gonna farm for those crazy expencive items on AH now?
Since buying stuff from AH is like only way to get into Inferno Act2-4 (Sure work if you have like 10 hours gametime each day) But for normal players this gonna be hell....I feel sad for myself that was hoping to buy a new weapon today after alot of farming....Hip hip hurray for Blizzard ones agin.
Just play the freaking game like you're supposed to and stop trying to find the easy way that isn't playing it
Its not that i dont wanna play the game.
Its just that i cant play like 10 hours each day but i still want to move forward in the game if you understand how i mean.
Inferno is inferno. It doesn't take 10 hours to move forward either. The game is supposed to last a very long time; if you can't get through act 2 go run skeleton king or butcher or something. If you have more time, run it twice. You'll get loot, you'll be able to do act 2. I don't know why people avoid doing this...
Ofc you can run Skeleton king and butcher but the chanse that you actully get what you need is almost zero since there is so many diffrent combos on gear. And that will take alot of time to run down to butcher over and over and its not fun ider.
It may not be fun for you but grinding for a small chance at an upgrade is the whole point of the game.
Another change they made that was not mentioned is that Resplendent Chest on the Keep Depths lvl 1 in Act 3. It no longer spawns, and instead a regular chest spawns. LE SIGH
It is so sad how delusional Blizzard is about their own game. You are not allowed to play Diablo 3 any other way then the way they want you too, it is a forced game as is now with little to no options. They cut PvP from release and said it was OK because people wouldn't be high enough level...level 60's in a day. They say it is about farming, we the people find spots to farm that are intelligent and Blizzard gets butt hurt because we utilized their system better then their shitty team did, so they remove it. We tell them their itemization blows dick and they give us some sap story about random gear drops.
This game was created by a bunch of Tals sorc wearing scrubs in Diablo 2, or scrubs who left Diablo because they couldn't hack it and went to WoW.
All in all, Blizzard is turning out to be pretty pathetic and sad. They come over like a guy who made something and is upset because the people playing what he made do it better then he can.
In cooperative games, monster damage will no longer increase when additional players join the game. Please note that monster health will still scale based on the number of players in a party
WTF?!? God damn it here we go already in less than a month with the bull shit nerfs for the garbage casuals piece of shit players that complain the game is too hard. The fun thing about diablo was always the aspect of enemies being tougher when more people come in, not to have it as the same difficulty when more people come in. This is exactly why I will never buy another blizzard game that has a monthly fee (wow or their next mmo). Bull shit like this just ruins the game and it's just for the garbage casuals that can't ever put effort in to their game and want everything easy as possible.

Really give a damn that much about pvp? Diablo has never been about pvp, the main stuff has always been about dungeon crawling. And it was ok to take it out for the time being because of that fact so fuck pvp. You want pvp then go to shit of legends or some other f2p game that is only pvp. It will be added eventually so big shit it's not there on day one.

I know you're very angry and in a way lashing out at their decisions. And a lot of people will want to call you a QQer or something of that sort. But honestly, despite some of your rash claims I must agree that their decisions are very irrational for a video game of this type. Every decision they make seems to be to try and make their game more and more like an MMO. And why are MMOs made this way? No, not because it's fun. But to grab the cash out of your wallets every month. If you could beat the game in a week (like the pros do) how are they gonna keep getting money from you for months to come? Well guess what, this isn't an MMO and we don't pay a monthly subscription. Whether people play for 2 weeks or 2 years is really up to them and it will never make a difference in Blizzard's pocket so why do they continue to design their game in this manner?
Basically it really does seem to boil down to their F2P model of the RMAH which still hasn't been shipped either. Cut every easy way of farming gear. Make the game give you a headache if you don't have any good gear. Result; enter RMAH to buy gear needed to beat game, else spend 5 months farming yourself. Then people realize the money they spent on the RMAH was kinda pointless probably Buy items to find items to sell items?
Diablo inferno went down this night without any difference in gear or skills.
THANKS BLIZZARD you destroyed the game.
Well I have taken Diablo at Inferno.... weeeee...... what now?!
I like challanges but this #¤%!(& nerf just destroyed the game. GG
What do you expect? it's blizzard and their usual bullshit making the game dumbed down for the piece of shit casual players that have 100,000,000 excuses on why they can't put effort in to the game. Look at how they fucked up WoW and you should never expect anything else with any of their games and the garbage casuals. Fucking trash players should go do their 100,000,000 things they claim they got to do instead of playing a game and ruining it as always.
Another change they made that was not mentioned is that Resplendent Chest on the Keep Depths lvl 1 in Act 3. It no longer spawns, and instead a regular chest spawns. LE SIGH
Seriously? You had fun running a fucking chest over and over? You should be happy they remove crap like this.
Not exactly, but I liked to start my a3 siege runs with it so I would have 2 guaranteed resplendents (that + caves)
FYI, as an undocumented change, the meteor "exploit" in Act 3 Quest 1 that kills a bunch of monsters after talking to a guard no longer works. The guard no longer runs forward after progressing through the conversation and the meteor lands on him in his current spot. There is also not enough time to run ahead and train monsters to his location before the meteor drops.
Oh well, I am glad it was fixed, but it was fun while it lasted!
Sigh, so many people crying over their gold find gear.
This change is for good, do you really believe farming pots would be a lucrative way to earn money? This added way too much gold into economy. The more gold is, the higher prices of gear are. Thus, later on, it leads to force people to run pots (longer and longer as time goes on) if they want to fix their weak links in gear since they can't get gold from crap Act I drops. Inflation would soon reach point where it's better to just buy those pieces on RMAH, because you will never farm enough gold to buy anything decent (it will happen at one point perhaps, but much more slower without that kind of spots).
If anything, Blizz hurts RMAH potential income by trying to keep gold value intact.

Honestly they were doomed from the start. The economy is garbage and inflating rapidly just like D2. I wish they kept the decision for bind on equip gear in the game, as the economy would be soooo much better. Think of all the whiners claiming any "noob" can go clear inferno by farming some gold and buying the items off the AH: well what if you could never buy hand-me-down gear because once it's equipped it's removed from the economy? Such a better system.
Anyway, softcore gold value is broken and I like any change they make to slow the inflation. Sucks I have to play hardcore just to have a better economy :|

Diablo II had fine economy IF you forgot about gold and talk in runes. Good rolled uniques had it's worth and no soulbond system either. However, there was ladder resets, which basically erased game each time it happened. I can't say I liked that system (effectively loosing your hero and what you had on him), but they will have to add some sort of gear remover/trade stopper later. Personally, I hope they add enchanter and ability to either enhance or improve/reroll rares/legendaries once at cost of soulbonding (to account) item, it will also make those badly rolled oranges selleble as a base for 'gamble'. But it's completely offtopic...
the whole game was stupidly easy. beat inferno after 2 weeks, thought it was supposed to last 6 months. 50 hours of gameplay in a 60 euro game. Thats horrible. oh ye half my gear isnt level 60, so I assume Im not outgearing it. No exploits used either.
At the people crying they can't farm gear anymore, man up and l2p, this game is beatable naked.
ZK runs were incredibly tedious, risk-free, but efficient. They're gone.
Urn-smashing runs were incredibly tedious, risk-free, but efficient. They're gone.
Multiplayer runs were incredibly hard, high-risk, and inefficient. They're gone.
... because Blizzard hates choice, and has no idea how to design games.
Conclusion: Good games reward tedious, low-risk gameplay... apparently.

and your class was what? i bet it was a ranged class
your point being? you can only really play this game as a melee?
@ Kolz - His point was that if you truly are concerned for the state of difficulty of the game - You should try and clear Hardcore, Inferno - Every single act. There is no greater challenge - There is no greater monument - And before you do this - You are literally like the forum whiners from WoW. "Oh no, Wellfare raids - it's too easy" *checks chars progress* "1/8 HC".
As for Co-op - I doubt you have tried going co-op Act III Inferno. Being able to effectively destroy elite packs etc. Act III , SOLO, you need around 1k resist. (I'm not talking about white mobs) - Now if you add to this - with more people - It becomes an unattainable degree of gear that you would need - on every single person - but mainly melee - To withstand the damage output.
Beyond this point - Getting gold in this game for gear - is much like playing farmville already - do a tedious task till you become too numb to realize what you were doing to begin with - just to find that you can buy one gear piece - That might help you survive a little bit better - but in the end you would have to spend FAR more then 10 hours farming.
Let's assume you need about 1 mil (that's cheap) for a good piece of gear with all res, phys res, and your primary stats. You get 300k/hour b4, with urn runs. So that's 3 hours 20 mins of just urn breaking, for every (hypothetical) priced item. And you would need how many items? I think there is about 12 pieces in total - so 12x200 mins - 2400 mins - 40 hours - Of urn breaking just to get these items that go for hypothetically 1 mil each.
You find your self hardcore because you can break urns for 40 hours? I hate to break this to you - in well formulated English compared to your raging incoherent ramblings - But no sane being likes breaking vases for 40 hours, unless you are supposedly a hardcore Farmville fan. And remember - this is 40 hours for solo gear - No Co-OP. And Diablo is about Co-op to begin with - so gg.
As for anyone claiming Blizzard are delusional about their own game - 3/10 troll - You must have missed the fact of how you are forced into Solo play.
@Zakarumite this isn't twitter, why are you @'ing me for? Who's to say I haven't done so with a guild? Do you know what I've done? Does he? Like I said, if you dont like putting the time in to the game with the countless casual excuses always used then don't play it, simple. You don't like tough challenges? Stay on normal. You want it even easier? Then play with over geared people and let them play for you. Simple! What the fuck is the point in having higher difficulties if they are gonna be nerfed for the garbage casuals? Other games with higher difficulties don't get dumbed down because "it's too hard" and casual has to go walk the dog. And what's this solo shit about? The fun in diablo games in general is having a full room just so the enemies are tougher...ah ok never mind the rest. The point in this entire thing is for the casuals to have an easy time, not a tougher time.

my point is that the ranged have bin facerolling hole d3 since the start compared to the melee, so the hole agrument about "l2p" have no substance at all since gameplay is so unbalanced vs ranged and melee, i have friends that cleared most of d3 with ease as ranged but struggle quite alot as melee(and several of them have bin hc players in d2 some as melee), as ranged you dont even need to have such extreme amount of armor, resistance or hp as a melee need, it is kinda funny that most posts ive seen were they write "l2p" "l2p or gtfo" "casuals ruins the game" is 7/10 times playing a ranged class
guess its easier to play a class were you dont have to put in much effort to progress with.
I hope you also realise barbs are the best inferno class
oh yeah and melees can actually stack res and survive. if you stack anything except damage as range you're retarded because blizzard designed the game like that
