Although I'd be willing to bet once they'd resolved the login and other issues associated with the new changes from patch 10 there is probably going to be a rather large wave of invites. Maybe I'm letting my optimistic side get the best of me, but it looks like they've removed the stuff they felt would take them too long (done), now they just need to get the itemization and skills/rune finished and tested and slam their servers into a brick wall of logins a few times.
Although it is way too easy to level your artisan to level 4 now. I'm not sure you should able to craft level 25 gear when you are at level 10. Something seems off about that.

I think you're overestimating how much gold you get in a single playthrough up to level 10, and there's more than just training blacksmith to spend gold on.

ya the jewler. which isnt as important. unless they really buff the gold costs of leveling up the blacksmith you can easily max him out in normal far far before you hit nightmare to get the pages to level it further

Yeah, I know. The prices are too low though. I'm at 3 playthroughs to level 13 and he's at level 4.
The first socketed items appear around level 20 in the BS's list, so let's assume you get your jeweler around mid act 2 or late act 1. That's a lot of cash hoarding in the mean time. So almost immediately upon getting the jeweler, you'll be able to max it to its potential in normal. So, you could (in theory) never need to use the lowest quality gems and start being to use the 3rd or 4th tier ones - which makes those initial tiers pointless. Of course, a lot depends on loot drops.
It's a real issue - albeit maybe insignificant.
Another issue with the beta is when you reach the skeleton king, you are at about level 8 or 9 (depending on thoroughness). So at 1/3 of 1/4 of the normal game, you are 1/3 through the leveling process? That doesn't seem quite right either. Levels must come really slowly after that.

Edit: To clarify, I'm whining about my achievements Oo
not really an issue, its not gonna happen in Live, plus they can easily just check that if you already are max, it gives it, no biggy
