Prices are skyrocketing on these items. I'm curious if anyone using this set finds the extra discipline handy when you need to burn a lot. Also, seems pretty important if you want to dual wield, as decent 1h xbows with high crit and +disc are going to be very expensive.
I found the chest and a buddy found the helm, Chest had great rolls helm not so much but it works. I bought decent boots for about 6 mil after selling a nice item and finished the set with a 10disc hatred regen nats bow that was only 500k.
Then I bought a 930 hatred regen open socket with 100 vitality for a good deal.
Unless you find it the ring is not really worth it for the majority of people.
I do 30k dps now which is less than my crossbow setup, significantly in fact. But i love the playstyle alot more.
I am also now able to farm all the way through act 2 easily which was debilitatingly frustrating with any other setup before.
Running into reflect damage packs and one shotting yourself with crossbow first shot with 30k hp is fail and not being able to kite those fast guys cuz you get disc starved I had just had enough.
Now i just run caltrops with damage and switch to a life on hit one hander I have and its easy mode when I run into both of them. I can trap and kite endlessly.
Thanks for the responses guys. I recently found a one handed weapon that sold for 150 million, so I decided this would be a fun investment, if perhaps not the most effective gear for the money. Fun, that is what I bought this game for in the first place so I'm pretty happy with my decision. I already have the whole set, minus the bow, but I'm thinking that if I eventually switch to a dual wield build, I'll lose my +disc from my quiver. Just trying to gauge if anyone else running this set would consider the 35 million intro price for a +8 disc cloak worth it. Yeah... it's a lot of gold.

1h xbows can roll 10 disc, so you won't "lose" it.
Regardless, +max disc is heavily overrated when you actually have the nat's 4 set. The reason it's awesome before the 4 set is that the biggest disc-regen you can get is through prep, so the bigger your base, the more you regen. Nat's 4 set means you almost never use prep, so you gain alot less of a benefit, as your bar fills so fast anyway.
4pc Nat give a way new playstile but you will need +Disc items at least one cos no matter what you are using Shadow or Fog it will deplete you disc and you will need also prep. If you go for nightstalker + high crit you can get arid of prep but you need +disc items as otherwise every mistake will be death.
False sir im using 4pc + nightstalker + 40% crit chance + Ball Lightning = infinite disc. Seriously i dont need +discipline items at all
Yes, most definitely. As a demon hunter, you can't have too much discipline. The more you have the better, even with the four piece bonus.

"I'm just getting started. I'm gonna pull the whole thing down. I gonna bring the whole fuckin' diseased, corrupt temple down on your heads. It's gonna be Biblical."
Considering how much you pay for it, it's only really worth it if you can't upgrade your remaining gear for less gold either. Personally I got myself a MF one with fairly high Dex and Vit for way cheaper than most +Disc ones. My head also has a socket (MF gem) and my ring MF/Vit rolls. Only the boots don't have MF since you cannot roll Dex and MF as far as I know.
My set up is similar, I have 79 dex + socket and MF on the ring, socketed helm, and I think I'm going to invest in boots with dex, as that seems to be the best upgrade for the money right now. I'll look into MF on the cloak as that sounds interesting as well. Thanks!
