Build Guide
This build is for low-mid tier with no legendaries. This build will help you use the set to farm for those legendaries.
The basis of the set is that to do damage you need to hit groups of enemies with 3 different fire damaging skills within three seconds.This set gives you major resistance if you ignite elites (hit 3 fire abilities) because it will give you all 20 fb stacks immediately.
Use teleport with wormhole to move around the rift and use arcane torrent to poke enemies and drag then all toward you.
Rotation: When you have a big enough group, hopefully with elites, use your blackhole to pull them in and stop them from attacking you. Then cast blizzard for your second fire ability, and start channeling arcane torrent-flame ward. You should be able to stay alive because the blackhole will basically stun enemies for its duration. Make sure to sweep the group quickly with arcane torrent, as you only have 3 seconds to ignite everything after the blackhole explodes.
Blizzard itself doesn't do as much damage as meteor-meteor shower, but it comes out faster, has a bigger area, and lasts longer. The damage doesn't matter because your real damage comes from the set, but switch out blizzard for meteor if you like. You can also try explosive blast-short fuse instead of magic weapon or blackhole but the area of explosive blast is very small.
Evocation helps with the cooldown for blackhole and teleport. Audacity gives a great dps buff for this kind of aoe farming. Illusionist will help you get out of dieing in a group of enemies if you couldn't ignite them. Astral presence because this build uses a lot of arcane power spenders.
Doing damage in GR40+ with this build is no problem, but staying alive can be tricky. The halo of arlyse helps a lot with this.
