Playtesting an old build I play.
Replace Skywarden with Blood Brother in cube if more survivability is needed.
Lord Commander as 5th passive.
Boyarsky's chip for taunt / peel.
Esoteric Alteration for toughness.
Gemo Efficacious Toxin for increased damage.
Set allows for all 3 followers to enter the fray to add their effects.
Having these followers equipped with Oculus Ring will allow more areas to spawn which gives players more areas to stand on to deal more damage.
This is what I have equipped on my followers. You can go for full damage weapons and skills to reduce diminishing returns.
Templar:
Heal, Loyalty, Charge, Guardian
Thunderfury, Ess of Johan, Wyrmward, Justice Lantern, Freeze of Deflection, Enchanting Favor
*Prioritize having as much block chance as possible from relic, ring and 31% on shield. You can drop this for Oculus Ring if you want one more.
Scoundrel:
Crippling Shot, Dirty Fighting, Powered Shot, Hysteria
Buriza-Do Kyanon, Ess of Johan, Bul-Kathos's Wedding Band, Oculus Ring
Enchantress:
Charm, Powered Armor, Disorient, Mass Control

What other 3 roles in the group work the best with this build?
Since I'm strictly a buff/debuff support with density stack, I'm usually with a zmonk as usual, a mobile AoE like a MS DH or condemn sader, and an RGK, usually a DH impale or necro. I had a shotgun sader RGK once which was cool to have.
