Build Guide

A low life Necromancer, that uses regenaration shield of Molten Wildebest gem as life and the Dead Bargain to prevent regenarating life. Im still testing the build, but its quiet useble as is.


Strategies


The Idea of the build is remain in low life by using the Molten Wildebest gem + Dead Bargain pants combo. One of the iten gives you a shield based in you life regen and the other prevents gaing life from life regen, as a plus gives an aura of damage (around 50 M, but did not test with a optimized gear just for the aura).


Defense


The main defense comes from the lornelle sun stone ring. With the build the heath should flutuate around 0 to 2%, but with controled spikes of 20% to 60% of red olb or health potions. So with just one iten (if the ring is perfect) you can obtain 93 to 95% of reduced damage, add the rest of the itens and in the diablo planner with no ancient gear the theorical reduction gets around 98.2% or 99.1% with Dayte binding belt (and this can get higher with ancient gear).


The problem is the life regen shield, in the calculator with life regen on the most eficients itens and a 15 stacks with bone armor, the life regen gets around 355,000. With that the shield gets around 710,000 with perfect normal gear (didnt add regen on the neck). So it can get high, but not as high as normal life. Another advantage is that the shield resests after 5 seconds without taking damage, the problem is that waiting is the only way of regaing "life". And the last side efect is that there is no pratical way of nowing how mush shield you have left, the only way I now is passing the mouse over the heath poll, so even that the damage reduction + the shield make it viable for HC, on practice its impossible to use it.


The last thing is that this build hate some proprietes, all the recovery proprietes, other that heath per second are bad for the build and vitality becomes useless. So you have to take out all the heath per hit, add life per heath olb, heath per kill, (only heath per kill can become usefull) you will have to take out of the equipment. Vitality is a dead stat on the build so u can put another thing in it.


Offence


The build has a problem with damage. Thats why you problably cant go high on rifts with the build (with my normal experimental build I made to T67). Because you have to use a bad iten (Dead Bargain) losing a slot for a multiplier.


In my test, I used a the ring of royal grandiur to open a slot for the Shi Mizu's Haori that combines perfecly with the build, and removing the necessaty of critical chance on itens.


Since build have many "neutral" multipliers so proc skill like the Sash of knives can deal some real damage. The Leger s Disdain are in the build for tests purpuse, but I believe that a good shield with elemental fisical damage is beter iten(even because the block works wonders with the build).


In the build Grin Scyth, corpe lance, icaros bone armor, and the Sash of Knives procs are the main damage. But all exept Corpe Lance can be changed.


Play style and technics


One of the main problems of a low life build, is actualy getting to low life without dying. Even that the Molten Wildebest gem + Dead Bargain pants combo can be used by other characters, only the necromancer has heath consuming skills to lower the life poll intencionaly.


The first thing I do is the Nunlock trick to activate Corpe Lance non stop. With the bold rune ativated as long that there is a corpes I now my life will go to 2% or lower.


Second i can use land of the dead to intencionaly get to low life with corpe lance.


Using bone armor can be tricky, since you need 20% heath it can lower your defence significantly. Normally, I use the red orbs, on end of a battle and use bone armor form a safe distance, on the heat of battle you also can get a red orb and you born armor for the high damage. You can also you use heath potion to get 60% and some corpes to lower the life fast.


The real challenge is to deal with situation that heals you in unwanted situations. Like killing an elite that drops 5 red orb near you or ganing a level, in this 2 situations you may be in middle of enemies and you wil lose great part of your defence and damage. If land of the dead is out of rotation its a guarantee rip.


Ideas


I beleve the build can be made with the pestilance set too. I tried it but i didnt have much success. Also the gogok lendary gem can be changed the pain enchancer, but that depends on the playstile, since I beleave rotating land of the dead the fast as possible a priority.
