More Details

This build is based around the first 2 Haedrig's gifts and assume that you have a 4 piece set bonus for Might of the Earth

Whatever 4 pieces you get, equip them and fill the rest in with lvl 70 rare pieces.

Weapon needs to be a 2 hander to maximize damage. An 2 handed axe, mace or mighty weapon will all do, but a mighty weapon has the chance to spawn with Max fury which will help a bit with your boulder toss.

Put a diamond in your helm rubies everywhere else.

Build Guide

This is a build specifically designed to get you past your solo GR 20 and was created assuming the worst possible circumstances: you found absolutely no usable legendary items to use while leveling, no paragon and no legendary gems. This is by no means a 100% best optimized build but after about 15 trials and variations, it always got the job done.

It revolves around having the 4 piece Might of the Earth(MOTE) set equipped and trying to do as much damage as possible.

Skill choices:

Bash-Instigation: Decent single target damage and lots of fury recovery. This build is decent at killing trash, so single target was more useful than AOE skills. I have also experimented with Frenzy and its a good option as well.

Leap-Call of Arreat: Since you get Iron Impact from the set, this helps to group-up enemies so your Earthquake can do max damage. Iron Impact makes you really tanky so use it as often as possible while near mobs.

Ancient Spear-Boulder Toss: This is our main way to spend fury. MOTE set reduces cooldowns of Earthquake, Avalanche, Leap and Ground Stomp by 1 second for every 30 Fury spent, so we can dump it often and it helps the whole build to work faster, also it is a solid amount of single target damage, something this build lacks.

Earthquake-Molten Fury: Primary damage skill, Leap causes this an Earthquake, so I have chosen the rune that does the most damage since it will trigger with the rune we have chosen. You can also cast it fairly often because the the cooldown reduction from the set.

War Cry-Veterans Warning: Additional Fury gain and toughness. Since you're low on resistances, Impunity doesn't help all that much, this seemed to help me survive the most.

Avalanch-Glacier: Helps a lot with crowd control. It freezes so can be used to interrupt animations of mobs to help you survive, or keep them in place so you can hit them.

Gameplay:

Start your War Cry as soon as you can, run around till you see a large group of mobs or an elite pack/champion pack, leap into them grouping them up because of Call of Arreat. Pop your Earthquake and use bash on the highest health target(usually the elite) Use Ancient Spear when fury is full. Use leap on cooldown to keep toughness up and Avalanche if something it trying to escape or just for more damage.

Legendary options:

If you were lucky to find any helpful legendaries, put them in the build. Some of the most useful ones out there for this build are:

Skular's Salvation- Change nothing, you hit the jackpot

Bracers of Desruction- Change Ancient Spear to Seismic Slam

Bracers of the First Men- Change Ancient Spear to Hammer of the Ancients

Lut Socks- Cube them and enjoy way more leaps, way more damage and more consistent toughness

Girdle of Giants- Change Ancient Spear to Seismic Slam and enjoy really strong Earthquakes.

This is by no means an exhaustive list of helpful legendaries, but its a good start.

Enjoy the build and good luck in Season 13!
