This build will use the full 6 piece set bonus from helltooth. We are only wearing 5 pieces. The requrired pieces are the shoulders, chest, pants, and feet. You can either wear the mask of jeram and helltooth gloves or wear helltooth helm and Tasker and Theo. This will depend on which you have better of the jeram and theo. Which ever one you wear cube the other. For my current setup I am wearing theo and cubing the mask of Jeram.
Witching hour is recommended for the damage increase. You can also run the belt of transcendence, or any other belt but not the best options. If you dont have a witching hour use a belt that can give you intelligence, vitality, armor, and life %.
The weapon and bracers are a must to maintain increased damage and toughness. The offhand is really up to you. I like the serpant because it works well with the pets. Henri's is also a nice mojo because it provides really nice defensive buffs. For the longest I used the gory fetch because it had the best rolls.
Use an Amethyst in the helm and topaz in the rest of the gear. For legendary the gems above are solo. If you run group play or regular torment rift runs swap stricken for bane of the powerful.

Max out your movement speed with paragon and gear first. Getting the perfect roll on boots is not always easy, so you may end up with boots that do have movement speed. if this is the case max out the movement speed between those 2 and put everything else into primary stat (intelligence). For offense start with your crit chance then damage. If you want to split these you can. Then tackle your attack speed then cooldown. For defense start with life and then Armor. Since this is an intelligence class the int on our gear will give us Resist All, so you want to take armor first. And finally for utility start with area damage or life on hit depending on which you need most at the time. Resource cost is 3rd followed by gold find.
Build Guide
This is a fun easy build for Season 12. With the increased buffs to the helltooth set and the shortman's finger ring this build hits like a truck. It is an easy build that can push well about 100 at lower paragons. The key behind the build will always be positioning but your damage comes from the 6 piece bonus. Make sure you casting Wall of death on cooldown. For the next 15 seconds your pets will receive a massive 4400% damage increase.
Keep in mind that we are using the traveler's pledge and compass rose, so you want to try to be stationary as much as possible. We are also using the confidence ritual passive, so try to stay in close range of enemies. My suggestion is to hide behind your pets. Stay close enough that you aren't taking damage and you can get the 25% damage increase. Use piranhado to keep enemies group so your pets don't get spread out. Recast your pets as needed. I always like to make sure I have a group before recasting my pets.
When pushing higher greater rifts try to avoid rifts that have a bunch of ranged enemies. It will make it impossible to get setup to real damage.

You would have to swap out one of the pieces. Either the gloves for Tasker and Theo or the Helm for Mask of Jeram.
