The full 6 piece Trag'Oul's Avatar set is required, with a Diamond in the Helm, Topazes in the Torso, and Amethysts in the Legs. All non-listed affixes should focus on healing, such as Life on Hit, Life on Kill, Life per Second, or bonus healing to health orbs. Possibly an affix to boost maximum Essence if there is an abundance of previously stated healing affixes already present on gear.

Amulet choices rank between a Hellfire Amulet with the Commander of the Risen Dead, Aberrant Animator or Dark Reaping passive, the Ess of Johan for enemy grouping works well also. For Rings, Krysbin's Sentence is the obvious choice for damage boosting and Circle of Nailuj's Evol for double Skeletal Mage summoning and increased duration. It's possible to use either one in the Cube for their maximum use, though this would mean wearing the Ring of Royal Grandeur.

Legendary Gems are to maximize healing and defense with Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard, Bane of the Trapped for proccing additional damage along with Kyrsbin's Sentence, while Zei's Stone of Vengeance boosts damage at the long range, but more importantly adds a Stun chance on hit for all attacks to proc Krysbin's maximum damage bonus as often as possible.

Nemesis Bracers are the key choice here, however Reaper's Wraps are a last option given the health globe production from Life from Death. Ancient Parthan Defenders work to help add damage reduction from all the outgoing Stun damage.

For Belts, Dayntee's Binding is the best defensive option, whereas Sash of Knives helps on the offense, however Cord of the Sherma works very well as a source of Slow and Blind effects on enemies to proc Krysbin's Sentence.

For weapons, Trag'Oul's Corroded Fang helps boost all outgoing damage to cursed enemies by up to 200% and the Iron Rose is required as an off-hand weapon to facilitate free Blood Novas for close range damage boosted by the Trag'Oul's 6 piece bonus, though a Lost Time/Bone Ringer or other such Legendary Phylactery would be suitable to stand-in until one is found.

Paragon of over 1000 is required to push the build past the T11/GR60 range, with Intelligence and Vitality on an equal 5 to 5 ratio to keep a balance of damage and elemental resistance with increased health for skill expenditure. Maximum Essence to increase the boost from Reilena's Shadowhook and then Movement Speed.

Attack Speed for the Skeletal Mages and Command Golem, Cooldown Reduction helps for Bone Armor, and Critical Chance and Damage round out offensive capability.

Life Regeneration is more important than ever with the 4 piece set bonus to stack health total, followed by Resist All and Armor before expanding the maximum Life total itself for a higher baseline.

Life on Hit just as important with the 4 piece bonus, then Area Damage. Resource Reduction Cost helps Mage summoning though it doesn't affect health costs. Gold Find is not applicable to the build.

Build Guide

This build has been tested in the 2.6.1 on the PS4 and PC.

The build of course focuses on maximizing the use of the 6 piece set bonus for 3300% damage increase, and with skills no longer costing double the health for the bonus damage as of 2.6.1 makes the set is much more viable for different builds. This build works on stacking as much health on as possible to keep the skills firing as much as possible, with variability for long, mid, and close range combat for any number of situations and keeping as high mobility and control around the battlefield as possible.

Long distance combat uses Skeletal Mages with the Life Support rune and Corpse Lance with the Blood Lance rune, being much more manageable now as of 2.6.1 for high speed, heavy damage output in bursts. For long range, mid-range, and close range alike, Blood Siphon with the Bloodsucker rune for easy health globe gathering, and at close range can activate free Blood Novas for heavy close range AoE damage, all such damage increased by the 3300% 6 piece set boost. The Command Golem using the Blood Golem rune adds another source of healing and mid-ranged melee damage, though for better corpse utility it could be swapped with the Flesh Golem.

Devour with Cannibalize keeps a more consistent, mobility based healing effect compared to Blood Siphon, all healing effects able to stack up to an additional 100% of total health for skill costs and higher endurance thanks to the 4 piece bonus and the 6 piece bonus doubling all healing effects no matter the source.

For the Cubed items, Reilena's Shadowhook to grant. 0.5% increased damage for every point of maximum Essence, so utilizing all options for maxing it out should grant around 165% additional damage from all sources. Tasker and Theo adds another 50% boost to attack speed for all pets, making the Command Golem and all summoned Mages doubly as effective for their duration, and Ring of Royal Grandeur allows use of the Moribund Gauntlets to be worn, making the Command Golem drop a corpse once every second to freely use for Devour or Corpse Lance. Tasker and Theo could however be swapped for Golemskin Breeches if wanting better healing/survival use from the Command Golem.

The passives help make the build, revolving around the Life from Death rune making corpses spawn health orbs for more health stacking and synergizing with Blood for Blood to make the health costing skills free for every health orb picked up to a total of 10 at a given time. With that and Gristly Tribute granting health on hit from all the attacking Skeletal Mages and the Blood Golem, the Necromancer should not be hurting for healing at any time. The use of Overwhelming Essence is to get the most out of the damage boost from Reilena's Shadowhook in the Cube.
