Looks like the only hard cc effect is the stun from dislocation. Unless I'm missing something. For krysbins to have a less clunky uptime we might need another source, its only a two second stun, and there is like no cooldown for bone armor. Obviously it works they way it is but, maybe another hard cc would improve this. Maybe drop blood rush for something like dizzying curse. I run 85 - 90 right now with the old non ptr items without blood rush just fine. Or are you just mainly shooting for the 100 percent bonus?
Did you guys try Corpse Explosion in place of Command Skeletons? It seems like that would be a good fit with the Close Quarters rune (Poison, practically guaranteed to be in range of bone tornado and doesn't mess with Stand Alone). And you have no corpse skill - so they're just going to waste right now.
For more CC - I don't know how much Dayntee's is needed at GR 100+, but, could Cord of Sherma also provide a nice proc for Krysbin's too?
And CE isn't great here because we're not running CE gloves, so the damage at 100+ is blah. Plus you won't have any corpses on the RG so you're going to lose 100% damage at least from nayrs black death. And skeletons help with stacking stricken.
I know this is a PTR build but the Nayr's specs are so much better than on the live game.
Cubed is only 65% instead of 100% .
Big difference.
Same for Leger's Disdain.
Hope this comes across in a patch at some point, otherwise awesome build.
After reading through the comments, if looking for more CC why not drop stricken and pick up Zei's? No dmg boost from gem since melee, but 20% chance to proc a stun so every 5th hit you'll get Krysbins. Also another idea, could drop Unity for RoRG and pick up Aquila Cuirass?
Forgot about the essence drop. Posted this after waking up and before coffee. Thanks for the Response
New Idea, sorry just coming back from a long hiatus, but if more CC needed, could we somehow incorporate RoRG and drop Inarius Helm for Blind Faith? Kinda how the lazy storm build does? Also pros/cons swapping skellies out for poison bone spirit? Just tossing ideas out.
hi! New buff to Inarius set, how do you think this will affect the builds pushing capabilties?
Also, have you tried Inarius pets?
cheers!
Inarius pets is pretty bad because you can't control where the pets will be and unfortunately, mobs have to be hit from your bone-nado to get the damage bonus. So pets + Inarius is generally bad
Speed build - swap Unity for RRoG, Boots to Steuart's Greaves............T13 away. This really speeds up the time from one mob to another.
How do you not get 1 shot by thoes fucking frog mofo? I'm trying to do a 70 with decent gear and keep getting 1 shot by trash
Hey Fluff, thanks for the awesome build. This is a great build with some really nice scaling and it's weird that nobody's running it right now. So much more fun than the Necro CDR builds that everyone else is playing.
I also got GR95 a couple of days ago. 1.8mil sheet DPS, 900 paragon, and lvl 85 gems. I only play solo so my gems and gear are lower than most everyone else with the same playtime. I completed it with 2 minutes to spare and no deaths so I went back in tonight with basically the same gear and got GR96 and GR97 as well. Had a couple of failed rifts with bad layouts/mobs at 97, but I did eventually finish one with like 20 seconds left. Probably need to upgrade the gear before I try anything higher. If a noob like me with bad gear can down a GR97, I'm sure there are better players with nicer gear and more Paragon who can go much higher.
Anyway, one change I made to the build was to drop Trapped gem and Malediction passive for Wildebeest and Draw Life passive. Because of all the damage reduction in the build, the healing really boosts your effective health. Not having to worry so much about dying and less dancing in and out when at low health means I can sit in the pack and lay down more DPS. With the healing, there are multiple bosses than you can just sit there and basically face tank.
I think if more people understood how the scaling on Leger's Disdain worked, there would be more interest in this build. Basically, don't attack a single mob by itself if you can help it. You do massively more damage the more mobs you're hitting in one swing. So it's worth it to drag your leftover elites over to some random white mobs just to get the huge increased damage per hit.
I hope more people give this build a try. It's actually pretty forgiving on gear since the damage scaling is so high. You just need to learn how to group the mobs up, keep buffs up, pay attention to COE rotation, and have enough survivability to blow everything up.
