Kanai's Cube

  • Reilena's Shadowhook
  • Krysbin's Sentence

-*Note: the armor slot in Kanai's Cube should be Frostburn, but it's not available as a selection yet.

Cubed Items:

-Reilena's Shadowhook gives you the most overall damage for a cubed weapon. Make sure to prioritize Max Essence in any slot you can, specifically in the weapon and offhand.

-Frostburn gives you 20% Cold Damage for bone armor + corpse lance and gives your cold skills a 50% Chance to Freeze which procs Krysbin's sentence like crazy.

-Krysbin's Sentence is the best necromancer ring. It gives 300% Damage boost to hard cc'd enemies, which includes Charm from Bone Spirit: Possession and Freeze from Frostburn and Land of the Dead: Frozen Land.

Equipped Items:

-Inarius Set is necessary to do damages, duh.

-Trag'Oul's Corroded Fang gives you 200% Damage boost to cursed enemies. You DON'T need to use grim scythe to get this to work. The curse effect will be triggered by Frailty: Aura of Frailty, which has amazing synergy with the close range aspect of this build.

-Lost Time gives you 25% Movement Speed increase after dealing cold damage 5 times. Feel free to swap out for a better off-hand if you don't care about the movement speed or just have another better rolled off hand.

-Wisdom of Kalan isn't a mandatory amulet. It helps with some more movement speed and tankyness, but you don't really need it. If you have a better amulet or another recommendation, let me know in the comments!

-Goldwrap + Avarice Band is obvious, it makes you invincible in normal rifts, which lets you forgo other defenses for damage. It also increases your pickup radius and the size of Frailty: Aura of Frailty.

-Convention of Elements has only 3 element rotations on Necromancers, and in this build you use both Physical and Cold skills as main damage dealers, which gets heavily boosted by CoE.

-Nemesis Bracers helps with any speed rifting build, feel free to substitute for anything else (recommendations welcome) if you have any better ideas!

Gems:

-Bane of the Trapped is the best gem in the game.

-Boon of the Hoarder is a necessary trio with Goldwrap + Avarice Band, giving you the Golden Hoarder Band trio (or whatever it's called)

-Pain Enhancer is the least important gem, it helps add some Physical damage to trash as you walk through them. The damage is boosted by the Inarius set passive. You could swap this out for other gems like Mirinae, Efficacious Toxin, or Wreath of Lightning, but I find that Pain Enhancer does the most dps.

Skills:

-Bone Armor: Harvest of Anguish gives you movement speed, damage, and is the quintessential skill of this build. The Dislocation rune is a good choice too, but I prefer to have the internal movement speed + Lost Time over the 2 second stun proc.

-Corpse Lance: Brittle Touch is the best single target skill the Necromancer has, plus we gotta use all those corpses we're leaving. We're not taking the other 3 second stun rune Visceral Impact because this skill will already instantly kill trash, while Elites will be Charmed by another skill.

-Bone Spirit: Possession gives you a 10 second Charm which should be used for Elites only. This skill recharges based on corpses consumed with Corpse Lance: Brittle Touch, so spam these two skills at any Elite you see. Beautiful synergy!

-Frailty: Aura of Frailty is good for some extra damage, just generally a great passive skill. No need to think about using it at all.
-Blood Rush use any rune for it, whatever works for you. I like Potency just for the added safety.

-Land of the Dead: Frozen Lands is honestly an unnecessary skill. I couldn't think of another passive skill to use here, so I just included this juggernaut of an ability. I use it twice per rift, once at the beginning to get some gold and bone armor stacks to get tanky, and once at the end to kill the rift guardian. Honestly, you could put any skill here and it would still work. Go and be creative! :D
