Trag'oul's Helm: Int-->Vit-->CHC-->Life% (Amethyst)

Trag'oul's Shoulder:Int-->Vit-->Life%-->Command pet%-->CDR

Trag'oul's Chest: Int-->Vit-->Sockets-->Life%-->Reduce damage (Topaz)

Gems:

Bane of the trapped--> Increased Damage on all enemies affected by Decrepify

Core:

Maximum Resource--> This is needed to provide more skeletal mage casts. This is not needed but I think it is a great benefit

Primary Stat--> More damage

Vitality--> More health for summoning mages

Movement Speed--> I do not believe Movement speed is really needed as bloodrush allows you to move around well


Offense:

Attack Speed--> More mage casts and faster skeleton attacks

Crit Hit Chance--> Always important. Also allows minions to crit more

Crit Hit Damage-->Less important that AS and CHC

Cooldown Reduction--> Not really necessary as we have no long cool downs


Defense:

Life--> Most important, as I have said more life for summoning mages

Life Regeneration-->Helps fill your life back faster

Resist All-->This is a glass cannon build so you basically get one shot no matter what

Build Guide

Everyone out there knows that the Inarious Bone Build is the top build for climbing the ladder and everyone out there knows this build is easy and kind of boring. Sorry to everyone who is running this build, I mean no offense, but to me it just doesn't make me enjoy playing the game.


That being said, everyone out there who knows me, knows that I am and always will be a person who favors playing pet builds. They are fun and finally the necro has provided some active style pet builds which really require the player to command their pets to do their bidding.So for anyone wanting to try out some fun pet builds I present to you a Trag'Oul's blood pet build which centers around skeletons and some really fricken powerful blood mages.


The concept behind this build is the fact that the 6 piece from Trag'Ouls gives all of your blood spending abilities %3300 more damage. By taking the Life Support rune on the Skeletal Mage spell, you are affectivly boosting the skeletal mage damage by %3300.


Skeletal Mage w/o Trag's set - 30K-50K per attack

Skeletal Mage with Trag's set - 300-600M per attack


This is just insane, especially when you can get out 20 mages at a time. You just melt Rift bosses


Game Play:


1.Use the Num Lock trick to set Devour to an auto cast ability. This will allow you to consure corpses and refil essence and health without thinking about it to much

2. Keep Decrepify on as many enemy as possible. Due to many of the skills and gear each cursed enemy gives you buffed damage

3. Use Command Skeleton ability to freeze any ranged mobs as well as use command skeleton to chose which targets die first. This ability gives you a lot of control over which mobs are stunned/frozen and your kill order

4. Keep as many blood mages out as possible. Every time your Essence is full be sure to spend it all casting Skeletal Mage ability

5. Use blood siphon as a filler and whenever you need to recover essence. This will allow you to also pull in health globes and build your blood for blood stacks for no health cost mages


Rinse and repeat :)


For your follower I suggest using the Templar for some added healing and a quick HP boost after you cast a large group of mages


Follower Items:

Trinket: Follower Cannot Die

Weapon: Thunderfury--> Lightning damage

Neck: Ess of Johan--> Pull in enemies

Ring 1: Wyrdward--> Stun enemies with the lightning damage. Bonus damage reduction from bracers

Ring2: Occulis--> Circles of power. Stand in these whenever possible for a boost to your mages and damage
