Build Guide
An all-purpose farming build for the Wizard I concocted to farm DB's and anything else I need with some single swaps. It uses Broken Promises for 100% CHC at all times plus Manald Heal to deal damage. You may have noticed that there are no buffs to damage on gear affixes, so how am I doing damage in T13? Two words; Manald Heal. That ring is so OP that it + CHD values provides you enough damage to farm T13, even in groups. AD is just icing on the cake to provide more damage to speed things up a little. So why not tack on more damage to kill faster? Because Wizard is way too squishy and the Tal Rasha set provides little to no damage reduction, that is why all of those defensive affixes are present.
PROS:
Build is excellent for starting fresh.
Can farm all T13 content and GR60 at an acceptable speed.
Is super tanky, can face-tank multiple molten explosions and live.
Can crowd control for groups if needed.
Extra Death's Breaths on Elite/Champ kills.
CONS:
Movement speed is questionable pending on the group composition.
Tricky to kill Goblins because they often don't hold still.
Build performance caps out at GR70 stats.
UPDATE: Changed cube weapon slot after discovering more of D3 dev team's retardation.
UPDATE 2: Changed the weapon again to Rimeheart and switched out Frost Nova for Blizzard with Frozen Solid for extra DPS. This helps in killing goblins easier compared to before.
Wouldn't it be faster to just use the Archon build that melts everything instantly?
Would be interested to see a video of this build, because if you use the Meta Top 10 solo Wizard build and add in-geom in the cube. You teleport to first champ pack, and then have permanent Archon from then on, and very quickly into the rift you 1 shot anything that touches your beam because of your stacks. If someone could farm DB's with this faster than I can with Archon (Even without sages)... I'd be impressed
If someone is a pro archon player and/or has all of the right gear to pull it off, then speed over quantity may trump this build. However with this build you can start fresh and be able to farm T13 to get that archon build or any other top tier build started. Plus it's more relaxed, you aren't rushing to kill elite packs to keep In-Geom up and you don't have to worry about getting 1-shotted out of nowhere. Also, I have not been able to get video recording to work on my PC, every time I try I get black screen recorded. Does the same thing on Twitch too and the support there is ass, they do nothing to help me so I am SoL.
I gave this build a try since I got tired of using fucking Archon, and I gotta say this is pretty good. When I saw the gear and skills I thought: "no way can this possibly deal a lot of damage." So after I gathered the stuff and tried it I started slicing up an elite and noticed that the first few hits were only scratching, but then all of a sudden the elite just died instantly as soon as Paralysis proc'd. lol
I will probably be using this build if I decide to run Wizard again for seasons, it will fuel my death breath count much quicker to put together a pushing build for greater rifts.
Lol, furnace don't working with MH

Electrocute builds are insane for t13 farming btw.
Wow, that is some BS... Devs of D3 are so retarded, this is why tooltips exist, fkin morons...
Anyways, thanks for pointing that out, i'll do some testing and replace the cube weapon.
This seems allot like the build I was using before (shown below)
www.diablofans.com/builds/70467-2-4-blades-multi-purpose-speed-non-in-geom-700-db
I do prefer that the other build uses the wand that removes the cd for teleport more though. So I may try to use a bit of both
I've seen that build before, but it was designed for T10 speed farming. Mine is for general purpose farming in T13 and also to get gear for end-game in the beginning of seasons.
So, there is no mention of what gems to put into armor sockets. I can assume you put topaz in everything but the helm which needs either diamond or amethyst but those are all assumptions that may be wrong. Regardless I got the gear and setup the build but found the dps was just to low when Paralysis isnt proced and for some reason I seem unable to proc it often enough to make the build useful. I will be going back to 1 of the other farming builds I used when I get the gear but for now I am stuck with this disappointing setup.
Assumptions about gems are correct. Although I don't know what troubles you are having, I used this build at the start of the season to get my Archon build and did just fine, I even carried people on T13 on the first week with it. lol
I'd have to see your profile to see what have so far. But if your paragon, gear, and gem levels are low, you'll have to stick to T10 til you get upgrades.
I already switched to a different build but my para was about 500 non leg gems at max lvl and leg gems at 50+. I only wanted a build to speed farm db not something to use till i get something better (I use my barb to push grift and plan to make a necro for bounties). The build was able to do the higher lvl just fine for me since it was unkillable but between the slow move speed and the low attack power it takes so long compared to all the other farming builds I have tried that it wasnt worth it in the end. Perhaps if I had switched 1 of the leg gems like Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard for simplicity strength that provides healing plus gives dps it may have been fast enough. However I havent tried (didnt think of it before) so unable to know for sure how much that will help and I already salvaged the gear I used for this build.
