Convention of Elements
Cubed weapon is a Dawn.
Bane of the Stricken can be swapped out for Boon of the Hoarder/Bane of the Powerful for speed runs. I recommend Diamonds for all other gem slots, though Emeralds can be used. I'm currently using 3 diamonds in the chest piece, and 2 emeralds in the pants. The helmet is mandatory with a diamond.
If hurting for toughness and already have diamonds equipped, put The Cloak of the Garwulf and a Ring of Royal Grandeur on. If wanting more damage, put a Bombadier's Rucksack on. If wanting toughness *and* damage, do all three. That's my current set-up.
Try to have a cooldown reduction of 40% for 100% vengeance upkeep.
When using primary and secondary attacks alternate them. I tend to hit both buttons at once. Keep sentries up at all times for maximum damage.
Convention of Elements cubed is needed for the damage boost for the elements used in your skills.
I recommend auto-triggering Vengeance and Companion.

Max out movement speed, then put the rest into Dexterity. You can alternate between Dex and Vitality if you find yourself needing toughness. Don't put any in Maximum Resource.
Build Guide
This is a build I started working on at the beginning of Season 9, with the intent of becoming a Grenadier. I liked multishot too much to give it up, though, so soon found myself working on this curious mix of abilities and equipment. To my surprise and delight, it works! This will be updated as I make changes.
This build can get to 65 grifts with some Ancient gear and incomplete paragon leveling. Set-up is viable for T13.
