Build Guide
Patch 2.6.1 buffs the 6p of Unhollowed Essence from 40% to 100% damage per point of Discipline that you have. This buff increases the power of UE by approximately 2.5x. With the buff to UE, this build should be able to clear approximately 6 tiers higher than before this patch. This build is made possible by the Hellcat Waistguard. The belt give's roughly a 50% chance to bounce up to 5 times, gaining damage on each bounce. I tested and can confirm that the damage bonus of 50% on each bounce and final bonus of 800% is indeed MULTIPLICATIVE with the original grenade damage of skill. The location of where the grenades bounce is random, but the resulting damage is huge.
This build uses Danetta's instead of Fortress Ballista with offhand. As a result you will have nearly permanent vault for extreme mobility. Also Danetta's leaves clones, stuns and knocks back mobs as you vault through them. This provides a great defensive benefit. Also since vaults will now cost hatred instead of discipline it will be possible to have max discipline at all times for more damage from the UE 6p bonus. As another benefit, vault will proc Focus/Restraint because it consumes hatred and the action shot rune deals damage. Just make sure to vault enough to keep up the F/R buff.
Gearing/Game Play - (The How)
Make sure to have at least 36.7% cdr for permanent Vengeance. Tactical Advantage passive is desirable to use for speed runs. If there is a reliable source of slowing then cull the weak can be a better choice than ambush in higher GR's. A hellfire amulet is preferred but a well rolled immunity amulet (especially arcane) is a fine choice too. For speed rifting Nemesis bracers are recommended if toughness allows. For pushing GR's use Wraps of Clarity. For bounties there is no better choice than the Warzechian Armguards. As with all UE builds, more discipline means more damage, therefore strive for maximum discipline on both weapons and cloak. There are break points for grenades, which can be found here: Grenade Break Points. Adjust gear/paragon/enchantress skills to make sure your attack speed is just on the high side of a Break Point. The 21 frame Break Point means the grenades will attack at a rate of 60/21 (In this game there are 60 frames a sec for actions) or 2.86 attacks per sec.
An alternative for pushing higher tier GR's would be to use a Traveler's Pledge, Compass Rose and Convention of Elements instead of Focus, Restraint and Hellfire Amulet. The advantage of using Endless Walk & CoE over F/R & HF would be potentially more damage while staying in place, more damage reduction while moving and not having to vault to proc F/R. I have found that using F/R & HF is superior for speed runs due to more consistent damage from the always up F/R buffs and to there being very little time spent stationary in these runs, which would lower the damage output of Endless Walk.
It goes w/o saying that it is imperative to keep up UE's 4p bonus thereby maintaining 2.5x toughness and 60% more damage (which is multiplicative with 6p bonus).
Make sure to spam Vengeance, bladed armor and wolf when off cooldown. The constant activation of these skills can be achieved by num locking them. Beyond that, all that is required is to vault for mobility and fire grenades to attack and regenerate hatred for more vaults. Its really that simple. You do need to be aware of your position relative to mobs and place yourself at least 10 yd away from mobs every 8 sec to keep up UE 4p. I personally use vault actively to stun elites and RG's to interrupt their special attacks. This can be be extremely helpful in surviving nasty fights. Note that while vaulting you enter into a smoke screen like state that renders you invulnerable to incoming damage for the brief time you're traveling from point to point.
Summary/Wrap Up - (The Results)
The build is very simple to play and a hell of a lot of fun. It gives insane mobility, good damage and high survivability. This build will not be used to compete for pushing the highest GR's, but its more than capable of clearing well into the 90's with no problem. For speed farming it is superb. GR 80's are taking 3-4 min to clear. Normal rifts are fast and fun. Split farming 4man T13 bounties is very efficient. In short, outside of bleeding edge GR pushing, this build can and will do everything you need and want within Diablo 3.
I have thoroughly enjoyed playing and testing out this build and I hope you will find as much enjoyment with it as I have. Please leave a comment below if you have any questions. Please Upvote if you find this guide useful. Thanks.
Well this build does have the potential to push fairly high in GR's. I personally have taken it up to GR 85 and think with higher paragon, better gears with high augments and 90ish+ gems that GR 90 is possible, maybe more. The first wall one will hit with this build is damage output. Ultimately this build does not have as much damage as wearing the Dawn and cubing the Buriza. The piercing extra explosions add extra pop to that setup. That being said Danetta's feels noticably safer to me because of the intense movement to dodge attacks and stun mobs. In the end I think in a solo situation, Danetta's is very competitive and maybe even perferable to Buriza. Where the Buriza pulls ahead is in a group with support. There, the extra damage output paired with superior grouping you get from support allows the Buriza to shine. Also both grenade builds as compared to the FoK's builds don't seem to have as high of a clearing potential.
And BOT gem is it the best gem for the build? could you go with a defensive and skip it or do u lose to much damage in the end?
was thinking u have to stand ultra close to make use of it. (i do that allready) but always fun if some other gem is on pair with it.
Bane of the Trapped adds a tremendous amount of damage and that is hard to pass up. Don't worry about it not being procced. As you say there is a natural self proc withing 15 yds. Also mobs that are stunned from vaulting will also proc it. Lastly the Thunderfurry used by follower will slow to add one more layer of proc. In a group BoT is additionally procced by the slow from your monk using ice blink.
Hi there, 1st time poster, thanks for the build.
I don't seem to be doing great(low dmg) with the build and as a new diablo player I may have fucked up somewhere which I can't find it.
I was using marauder sentry build and I was doing 65 rifts solo (I know it's not great but still), but with this one I'm having trouble clearing rifts on torment XI, so you could look @ my profile and tell me what's wrong I would appreciate that.

If for some reason the visage of gunes appears on the cube, ignore it, I already put hunter's wrath there.
Messed up with quotation - sry double post
Sorry about that, I replicated on d3planner just now.
This has nothing to do with your post, but on a very sad note, I just had my 4th dc/lag out/lockup death in HC this season which is less than 2 weeks old. So far I have put in around 150hrs in this season and it feels nearly for naught. I can't begin to express how demoralized I feel at this moment. All I can say is that I hope everyone out there is having better luck with this season than I have been having.
Well, I don't personally see why you would have issues killing things efficiently in T11 with this gear, however assuming your gear is unrolled as the planner would suggest there are a few things you can do to improve this.
I would roll the AS into CC on your hellfire since you have a huge imbalance in CD and CC right now.
Your Nems are missing a stat? repending what it is depends what you should roll, but CC would be nice there as well.
Your chest does not need Hatred Regen, I would go with Vit.
On your gloves I would roll the AD to either higher AD, CD or Vit.
I would roll the Vit on your Restraint to CC
I would probably roll CD to higher CD on your focus
The movement speed on your Hell Walkers is doing nothing for you right now. The cap from Paragon/Gear is 25%, so either lower the paragon movement speed to 14% and dump the remainder into Dex, or reroll the movement speed into armor?
You're CDR is a little low for 100% vengance up time, so I would probably roll the CDR on your revenge to 10% CDR
If you are lucky and have an abundance of gifts, I would roll the socket on your spite into LOH, otherwise, I would try rolling it in the cube to get an ancient if you have the mats.
No secondary stats listed for your hellcat, if there isn't a secondary resist, I would roll armor to AR
Rolling the AR on your Depth Diggers to socket would net you another 32 resists if you have the gems
I would wait to see what John has to say before rolling anyting as I may have overlooked something, but I would say your gear is on par with mine, in some ways better, and I have no problem with T11 what so ever.
I updated correctly on D3Planner (didn't knew about the import function).
And I logged out using this build, so it should be up on the B.net Profile.
Some of the suggestions to roll of the stats aren't possible because I already roll'd them :/, hopefully now the b.net and the d3planner are showing correctly.
Sorry for bothering.
Also, it is showing COE in your cube, not RoRG which means you arent getting the 6 piece bonus from the UE set.
As for the other gear, I think you would get more benefit out of 10% Crit chance on your amulet than you would from the Crit damage due to having much lower Crit chance than the ideal 1/10 ratio you want. I would consider rolling another Hellfire amulet and trying for something closer to Fire %/CHC/CHD/Socket.
Adjust your paragon to account for the movement speed on boots, since you said you are having damage issues, not survival, this is probably a better option than rolling armor.
You can try to roll 12 discipline on each weapon
You are at about 92% Vengence uptime, so I would try to pick up some CDR somewhere
im not sure what else you can roll with the current gear, just a matter of some upgrades after that to try and get closer to the stat recommendations in the guide.
With RoRG and Depth Digger though, you shouldn't have trouble with T11...
I'll see what I can do about the other issues that you pointed out and update d3planner and b.net profile as soon as I can log-in into the game again.
Thanks for your input and patience.
Here is my DH currently. still a long way to go. I spend the majority of my time on the WD, so this has been more of a pet project for me.

I need upgrades in just about every slot, but it is still very fun to play!
Super fun build. What should I roll on ancient danetta's
current stats Dex,vit, resource reduction gold find%
Wasn't sure if should roll dmg % or + discipline.
Now it's looking good, I must've forgotten something.
Should I just aim for ancient parts, ancient danneta and better amulet?
