Elemental Frost Arrow Marauder (Torment 13 to GR75+)

Build Synopsis

Updated: September 19 2016.

A different approach to M6 gameplay.

The build relies on safety, durability and utilizes the Ring of Royal Grandeur into five pieces of Embodiment of the Marauder (see gear above) with the flexibility of an additional ring slot afforded by utilizing the Endless Walk bonus. The synergy between the Kridershot and the Augustine's Panacea provides the DPS output of this build with sufficient cooldowns. The toughness of the pets are also synergized with the player with Zoey's Secret and via Enforcer and the no Hatred nature of Kridershot Elemental Arrows provides the permanent Hatred pool required for Aquila's Cuirass.

Crowd control is provided by a reliable combination of Elemental Frost Arrow and Polar Sentry. This in turn keeps up Bane of the Trapped buff uptime.

Paired the three items with Elusive Ring and smart usage of Smokescreen gives this build over 400M toughness in battle.

it is important to have Paragon points allocated into Movement Speed as you want to move minimally as possible to preserve 100 stacks of the Endless Walk buff.

Variations

A variation of this build sacrifices Elusive Ring's defense for Convention of Elements if you want more punch. You can also retain the Marauder chestpiece and substitute Visage of Gunes in (replace Caltrops with Vengeance) for situations requiring more mitigation.

Enforcer gem if pets dying too much - I recommend Gogok of Swiftness as it provides opportunities to greatly increase the casting speed of Frost Arrow and reduce cooldowns. It will also provide a chance to dodge as defense measure. Templar skill Loyalty should be sufficient for HPS uptime on pets.

Paragon priorities in Primary Stat and Movement Speed as you want to move out of trouble with the minimal movement as to preserve your Endless Walk stacks.
