Landing a Critical Hit has a chance to increase the vortex effect up to 3 stacks for a total of 315% weapon damage.
Inner Storm

As long as your vortex is at 3 or more stacks, you gain 8 Spirit per second.

Sweeping Wind's damage turns into Holy.

Ring of Royal Grandeur

Using the 6 piece bonus from the Sunwuko set along with Scarbringer makes a LTK build fun. The current standard cookie cutter build using Vengeful Wind weapon and the Kyoshiros Soul belt is really annoying having to dash AWAY from enemies to keep your Sweeping Wind stacks up.

This utilizes a generator to keep up spirit and your stacks thus spamming LTK for fun.

This gear and skills are designed for Hardcore where survivability comes first.

Life on Hit at near 60,000 really helps.

Build Guide

A modified version of the LTK build for Hardcore. A quick video of the gear and stats is above...when you trigger all your buffs you are hitting hard and are godlike when Epiphany is up. In and up to GR84 I've never triggered NDE yet.

With this build surviving a GR85 is pretty easy and you can tweak as you progress like introducing String of Ears for the Witching Hour if you ever trigger Near Death Experience.

Playstyle is:

Dash into crowd and activate Sweeping Wind
Use Way of the Hundred Fists for three attacks
Hit Lashing Tail Kick with the Mythic Rhythm bonus
Aim to stand in an Oculus Ring proc

With WotHF:FoF keeping your stacks you will find that they rarely drop.

DPS is huge when you get the 3000% damage from Sunwuko, Oculus Ring + 3rd hit from generator using MR passive to cause LTK to have extra 40% on top of the massive bonus it gets from the items of Scarbringer, Gyana and Rivera.
