Build Guide
What to expect:
This is a build especially tuned and build around doing Torment 10 rifts and Greater Rifts until like level 60 as fast (and as consistent) as possible.
I myself am doing Greater Rift 55s at an average of less than90seconds even with the shittiest maps and mobs and with kind of lowish paragon level and way less than optimized gear (even wearing some strength pieces).
Pros & Cons of the build:
Cons:
- Being a LoN build it has extremely high item conditions due to the fact that you need ancient items on every spot and mostly with the right stats on it
- there will be some kind of "breakpoint" when UE starts to be faster than this build when you go too high in GR - levels. When you are not able to "oneshot" Elites anymore it might be necessary to improve your gear/paragons or to go down in GR-levels.
Pros:
- it is the fastest way of clearing TX and low-to-mid GRs!! IT. IS.
- the playstyle is even more simple and braindead than UE is
Playstyle:
You have only ONE real button to press.
Put your Shadow Power, Preparation and Vengeance on autocast or use a program like for example Razer Synapse for them to actiave as soon as they get off cooldown. You don´t need to wait until you press your Shadow Power again since you will be able to maintain the speedbuffs you get from it at all times!!!
Keep strafing your way through the map and dont wait for the mobs to die since they will die from your PE-dot. Run into Elites and oneshot them with your Fan of Knives.
THE BUILD:
The idea of the build was to enable all the possible speed boosts available for Demon Hunters in the most efficient way.
It is totally clear that the most obvious and common speedboosts like Boon of the Hoarder, Wreath of Lightning, Krelms Belt and the DH-passives Hot Pursuit and Tactical Advantage need to be implemented.
Since the Leg-Gems together with Hot Pursuit are autoactives and some kind of nobrainers there was only one thing that had to be overthought: Tactical Advantage.
There are 3 ways to active this passive: Vault is the one that is used in all of the UE Multishot builds, but not available to a Strafe build since it interrupts not only your channeling of strafe but also your movement in general.
The other possibilities offered are Shadow Power and Smoke Screen. Both of them have a Rune that offers movement speed when activated.
Shadow Power: Shadow Glide gives you 30% MS and Smoke Screen:
Displacement gives you 100% MS while invisible.
Since Smoke Screen has an inner cooldown of about 1 second after the effect fades and the duration of the effect is 1 second aswell it is effectively 50% MS.
Both runes have a discipline cost of 14, which is too much to keep the Tactical Advantage Buff activated at all times.
The key to ensure 100% uptime of the Tactical Advantage - Buff and to get most of the SS-rune Displacement (the effectively 50% MS) is:
Lianna´s Wings.
It autocasts Smoke Screen whenever you use Shadow Power. It even casts it with the rune you have chosen on your action bar, which will be in this case: Displacement.
Choosing the Shadow Power: Well of Darkness rune reduces its cost to 8 discipline, which makes it possible to spam it every 2 seconds together with the Preparation Discipline Regeneration and Blood Vengeance.
Conclusion: You use the Shadow Power with the reduced cost to trigger your Tactical Advantage and the 100% MS of Displacement. Pretty ironic imho
The rest of the build is pretty standard and there should be no need of explaining every little detail. For further information on how the LoN - build works I recommend you to take a look at Dunkelvieh´s 2.4.1 guide: .
Sorry for only pointing out the new stuff and differences between this build and other standard LoN builds. I am just being too lazy to repeat every small detail of LoN - builds and sorry for not being able to make a video guide. My computer is garbage.
Cheers
