Kanai's Cube
Kanai's cube is bugged .... so this is what's used:
- Armor: THE SWAMI
Playstyle: Keep up Magic Weapon + Force Armor, use Teleport to position once our of Archon and also if you have trouble surviving (+25 % toughness), Use Frost Nova whenever ready or every 5 seconds for the +10 % CHC, otherwise just use Arcane Torrent and whenever Archon is ready USE it, BOOM BOOM BOOM, all is dead.
-
You get most damage by getting both Arcane and Fire dmg. However, you MUST have more Fire DMG than Arcane in order for your Chantado to Deal Fire DMG.
So, the best would be; 20 % Fire dmg on one piece and 19 % arcane on another piece.
IF you wonder where the Fire Damage comes from, then the way that Chantado works, is that it deals the type of element that you have Most %-elemental damage on. So if you have 20 % fire, 19 % Arcane, then Chantado's wave of destruction will be Fire Damage

Why Static Discharge on Arcane Torrent insead of Flameward for toughness?
Also, should I play Energy Armor - Force Armor even if I play solo or should I go with Ice Armor - Crystallize?
YO draque I find it fuckign funny ur guide suddenly pop with 28+ upvotes and all mine that were 24+ were down voted below 16 Good job Botter and vote Manipulator
How is the cube bugged? And is it still bugged or was that for the PTR?
Edit: OR did you mean the Cube on Diablofans.com is bugged?
How am i suppose to survive while in solo? Whenever i m out of archon i get poped by any attack almost instantly half of the time. Or there is an elite or rift boss where i just cant afford to be in melee without getting oneshoted. And by not doing so im not utilizing audaicty, trapped, chantodo stacks etc...
I also run out of arcane power sometimes, do i need apoc on offhand?
I guess the idea is i still should have archon stacks and get archon off cd while that is still rolling. But i just get oneshoted second after i exit archon. And im only doing gr 71.
Whats the best defensive legendary gem for solo? Esoteric or gizzard and what do i sacrifice gogok ?
I im running with explosive blast and orb of infinite depth in cube and halo of alrsye with ice armor since like i said dmg is not an issue.
Any survive advice would be welcome.
how is firebirds better then vyrs>
I understand the logic behind having 20% fire damage and 19% arcane damage. What I don't understand is why none of the top solo Wizards have any + arcane damage? In fact some of them have +35% fire damage but no arcane. Are they just letting Convention of Elements buff their Arcane damage for archon?
drahque i love you
Great, thanks for the reply!
Orb of infinite depht is mandatory for 80+..
why people are using firebird if there is no fire skills? and what's the idea of archon? why not just use Vyr's then if we gonna go full archon?
I'm having so much difficulty surviving past GR65. Blur in place of illusionist really slows the pace down when searching for elites and I see no difference with blur at all, constantly getting one shot through force armor and everything else. Halo of Arlyse really is the difference maker in terms of sustain. I do like frost nova though! That does help with getting a group froze together to get stacks up. Maybe make a video and show me a way to make this build and I'll be a try it again. Thanks
You will get one shot in solo. You have 2 get out of death free cards with this build. Use safe passage to get some distance between you and mobs after archon fades, keep firing torrent to get archon back up, if mobs leap at you or get close hit the nova and reposition. Try to avoid using nova so that all your zodiac points go into restoring archon, quickly, if possible. If you die more than twice between archons then work on skill and movement. Otherwise you should have your survival cooldowns ready again by the next outphase. Even if you die a lot, the speed with which you take down elites and the boss will get you through the rift in a timely manner. I mean if you have the damage to do 80-90s in 10-12 minutes that gives you about 6-7 actual deaths after 10 or 12 gear and skill saves. You will still beat the 15 minute rift and that's the name of the game. Once paragon, ancients, gems, etc all have a chance to catch up, high 90s should be relatively common with this build.
Hey Drahque!
While I've used a few of your guides, I've found them a little lacking when it comes to details. I'm providing a little feedback in this particular one, because Wizard's my jam, in the hopes that you're more interested in writing good, solid guides. I know you've got a lot of them out there so going into super details for each one would be perhaps unrealistic, but there's at least a few easy things you can do to improve the guide. There's of course always the chance that you're mostly doing it for publicity/recognition, which would make this all a fat waste of time but c'est la vie.
Here's a high level few things the guide should spell out. Posting things like this in the comments is all and well, but these are things the guide should specify itself:
This build works so well in S6 because of buffs to the Archon skill in 2.4.1, mainly the change to the damage stack bonus to be multiplicative. Essentially, this build works by stacking hefty multiplicative damage bonuses: Archon, Endless Walk and Bane gems along with the 2000% Firebird's ignited elite buff. You'll notice a lack of fire abilities in the build: The Firebird's buff is is triggered by Chantodo's set effect, which uses your highest %Damage as it's damage type. Because of this, try to manage uptime on Archon when you have elites/good density.
Of course, a decent video guide could easily render most of the above moot.
Meh. My 2 bits worth. Thanks for taking the time to read.
...
I am using this build at the moment. GR 65 solo easy, will attempt higher difficulty tomorrow.
Curious what the limits of this build are in terms of GR difficulty.
EDIT: word cuts
Hi guys, I am having trouble with this build. I have it complete all except the bracers and I am only able to do rift 50. Anything more than that and I simply don't do any damage it takes 3-4 waves to clear trash mobs. Am I doing something wrong here?
