Build Guide
Quin69 here. Hey boyz!
This is the Inna's Generator Monk, which had already been one of the top builds last season, now updated for patch 2.4.1. This setup got multiple buffs in terms of damage output and increased healing from the updated Simplicity's Strength.
If you do not enjoy playing with Way of the Hundred Fists (Fists of Fury), you can always switch to Crippling Wave (Mangle), as it is more consistent. Way of the Hundred Fists has a higher damage cap when played properly though.
Basic game-play strategy:
- Keep buffs up at all times.
- Attack enemies with Generator.
- Try to gather density by utilising Dashing Strike to engage new enemies and Cyclone Strike to pull them closer.
IMPORTANT: When playing with Fists of Fury, note that the damage cap of the damage over time effect scales with your attack speed from when you first attacked an enemy. This means that to reach the highest damage potential you should avoid engaging new enemies while Flying Dragon buff is down. You can check whether Flying Dragon is up by pressing C or I to open your inventory and look at the attack speed: if it is close to 5, Flying Dragon is active.

you've got crudest boots in the cube and equipped. you need innas or raiment boots
Hey Quin69 does this mean that uliana set is still weaker? I was really looking forward to that build Could Ulianas reach 70+?
Dont know if this is true over all, but in the highend of the ptr leaderboards, i saw atleast 4 variations of monkbuilds beeing 80+, and one of them beeing ullianas. So I think I wont lie to you, if i tell you that 70+ will be doable.
Thanks I'm not really pro enough to go much higher so as long as its not underpowered
look at ladder. It is already 95
Where did you see 95? No monk is past 90
Why do you have the Inna's set if you do not use the Mystic Ally? Does it automatically summon with the whole set, or is it just not that powerful?
Hey guys ! can someone explain the reason behind the unity ring in a solo build ? sorry if t's a noob question ^^
Easily completed a GR 74 under 14 mins with this build to land at 436 on the leader board. I'm at Paragon 781. I know I can do higher. Feels good to compete with people at 2000+ paragons. Thanks Quinn! My Build
This may be a dumb question. But i got a travellers pledge with holy, dex, chd and chc. What stat should i roll out for the socket? Thank you in advance.
What about the dmg type on neck and bracer? holy? physical?
What about Depth Diggers vs Crudest Boots in Cube?
and would you use the same gems for HC?
Crudest boots change the multiplier for Inna's from 3.5x (+250%) to 6x (+500%), which is a ~71.4% damage increase for ALL your damage. Depth Diggers multiply all your generator by 2x, which is a 100% damage increase for your GENERATOR damage.
*just found out my self*
Close, but you're forgetting the bonuses the from the passives from the 5 extra allies. (20% damage, 40% HP, 8 Spirit/Sec, 20k+ Regen)
The 20% bonus from the 2nd ally adds to the first going from 1.2x to 1.4x which is a 16.7% damage increase.
Interestingly this makes crudest boots provide exactly a 100% damage increase to all damage. (1.167*1.714=2.000)
losing a clone of each of your allys wouldnt be advisable as with the boots you get one more of each adding up to a total of 10.
Vit scales so well with the buffed Simplicity's Strength. My Ancient weapons happened to have Vitality that I couldn't remove, and the LoH is insane. If given the choice I wouldn't run it on both weapons, but I'd definitely take it over LoH on one. How important is CDR for this build (beyond having it on the obvious pieces)? I have the option to roll either 24% AD or 10% CDR on my second weapon, and I'm unsure which is better. AD deals an insane amount of damage to the rift, but CDR provides toughness and damage from higher uptime of IS and Epiphany.
