Build Guide
Quin69 here. Hey boyz!
This is the "God Monk", updated for 2.4.1. This build is the fastest in the game for getting from A to B while still being able to clear T10 at a nice speed. If you need to do bounties, stay and listen.
If your gear does not meet the requirements to keep dashing endlessly (at least 55% CDR, 45% RCR), you can always drop Envious Blade for In-Geom. This allows the build to be played with worse gear, but it also forces you to hunt for elites to keep the In-Geom buff up.
If you are lacking damage, you can change your rings to Focus & Restraint, but losing the pickup radius from Avarice Band is a huge loss in terms of rift clear speed.
When your connection is very good, you can also go for Flying Dragon over The Furnace in the cube. Keep in mind, however, that this further increases the CDR and RCR requirements, so In-Geom becomes a must have.
The passive skill on the hellfire amulet is Seize The Initiative. Of course this can be swapped with any of the other passive skills used by this build.
Basic game-play strategy:
- Keep your buffs up.
- Attack every so often with your generator.
- Dash, for as long as you are not out of resources.
- Enemies might take more than one Dashing Strike to kill, so you might have to dash 2-3 times on the spot for elites.

Can't wait to build this in season 6! Cheers!
Stupid question how do you have the mantras as right click?
Thank you.
This falls on its face with the in-geom build. There is a noticeable delay in the refunded dash charge that makes this less than spammable, like 2-3 per second at best.
Is there anything we can do to make this a bit tougher but still keep the speed? I want to try it but am playing hardcore. Swapping out one of the passives for NDA for starters, just wondering what else might be a good idea to try to get some more survive-ability. (Or just run One Punch monk for the distance safety.)
You have to have INSANE gear for this and even then its a pain in the ass and not worth it over Bell...
Yes, swap out to harmony and near death experience 100%
This build clears fine at low paragons/gear ~ just have to use in-geom & always kill elites every 15 seconds
Very fun and fast. Quin, you continue being a genius of the game.
I've noticed the same thing as recon_. I've been trying to gear this on and off all season. I'm p800 with medium gear.
Damage: my experience is that doesn't do even close to enough dmg for tx. It also suffers from the same inconsistencies that WoL does. (sometimes it literally does 0 dmg with all the buffs up). With gg gear AND 60+ caldessians you might be able to clear as fast or fater than as WoL monk with meh gear. Forget about group anything (rifts or bounties), even gg gear won't get you that kind of dmg.
Toughness: basically 0. I tried to forgo gold wrap + avarice in favor of more dmg (see above), and everything kills you instantly. If you lose the bonus armor(e.g changing rift levels), you're doomed
Speed: Slow. Fast in theory but Its suffers greatly from non-gg density or windy or door rifts or if you want to pick anything up. Compared to WoL, the linear limited aoe of dash makes you often use multiple dashes to clear groups of mobs.
My conclusion: Unless you are p1000+ (quin is p2000 in video) with full caldessians, don't expect this to work. Its great for gob hunting t6-t8 where the layout is predictable. However, Its ill-suited for tx speed/group anything.
Hey! i dont understand , i have all the gear needed , have 55%cd and 45% scr but my dps suck! in t8 lonely i can easly one shot mob in rift but when i try t10 mob one shot me and i cant kill them! just dont understand what i did wrong! im gonna try to give my armory if someone can help me! http://www.d3planner.com/596402912
Thx
I love this build but I have trouble with it because the Dashing Strike damage buff doesn't always work. I'll use the primary skill (Way of the Hundred Fists or others) and sometimes it won't buff the DS. Occasionally it will start working again on its own eventually, but often times I only get it to work again by un-equipping part of the set (to drop the 6pc bonus) and equipping it again.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Quin, is this possible as the old dashing strike for GR, changing the other weapon with Crystal?
See my comment above yours. this build isn't really tx viable. t8 is about the best you can expect. with near perfect gear, full 80+ caldessians, 80+ gems and p2k+, you *might* be able to to tx *solo*. Group is out of the question.
i like all your guides quin !
would be nice if you had some time to look at my gear , i can't always out perform and do hughe dmg .
take care and keep up the fantastic work !
grts,
Donn
So nobody else here is having a problem activating the 6pc dashing strike damage buff?
This is INCREDIBLY frustrating.
Love your work Quinn - thanks from KnfjyteShjne [ Night Shine ] . Just a Question which L gems are best to solo G Rifts since I'm confused as to what L gem is better than another L gem I find that some are mediocre whilst others are somewhat good but which 3 combined are really good to go very high solo/co-op GRifts and can you improve your damage further by combining what Lgems in what Rings and Amulet ? , and do you have a Alt build/s for Ancient led items using one handed weapons and a two handed weapon . Ty from pete.
By the way using Innas 2 times all mystic Allies build - I can't go really hard at the moment since my paragon is only in the mid 300's and still looking for Ancient led items including [ Ancient green set items - don't know if this is a new addition to Season 6 or not ] ?
Guess you cant get 2 X mystic Allies with standard Ancient Led Items or can you ? Also do you have any tips for a build that uses lightning damage like crazy would love to try if you have any tips ?
This build has insane gear requirements to play at a fast pace. Once you're able to run this build in TX 4 player mode and one shot everything there's really no need to run this build anymore. It would mean you are able to run any random skills and still one shot everything.
This build isn't really TX viable early season and specially not in groups. It may be fun if you can run this off-season with insane paragon and gem levels.
