Build Guide
Quin69 here. Hey boyz!
This build is what will be used in 4man groups for wizards in 2.4.1. The meta revolves around Energy Twister, yet again.
Basic game-play strategy:
- You can stack Energy Twisters by aiming them right on inverted corners, so they stand still. You will see this a lot on my stream when we're farming EXP, so if you have trouble getting your Energy Twisters stick to the corner, come and watch.
- Use Frost Nova, Explosive Blast to maintain your Tal Rasha and Orb of Infinite Depth buffs.
- Use Electrocute when you run out of Arcane Power, and once in the beginning for Tal Rasha.
- Keep Magic Weapon and Energy Armor up all the time.
A big thanks to the guys that tested the 4-player meta on the PTR.
If you liked the guide, then come follow my stream @ >>> www.twitch.tv/quin69 <<< for more D3 action! When I go live, any questions that you guys have can be answered live on stream!
Be sure to check back on the guide every now and then! as i am always making minor changes.
pain enhancer still viable when twister stack is capped at 8? aesoteric instead maybe, or?
edit: pain enhancer to build up the 8 stacks quicker i would guess?
So the new meta is nearly the same as the old one just with less mobility and having to cast a filler in between :(?
How far is it behind the firebird specs that got hyped so much on the PTR?
This build is not going be the end all for damage. Fire can do FB Archon can do more.
How does the stun proc on Ancient Parthan Defenders work with this set up? What's stunning mobs?
I am suffering from survival issues this season. When I watch streamers they just cast their tornadoos and face tank everything while I die at lower greater rifts. My supports have proper items and gear and we are decent players. Is there a trick we are not aware of for this season?
Besides your Frost Nova, the other party member's stuns/freezes count toward the APD proc
