Hellfire isn't really necessary, you can rock earthen might as a 5th passive here but it isn't needed.
As I say in the video, you can definitely opt for more movement speed. We found it wasn't affecting our clear times as much as we thought it would.
But options include:
-wear chilakniks chain and cube warzechian armguards
-cube avarice band and drop bane of the powerful for boon of the hoarder
4th Cube S22 = Reaver

I wouldn't see why not. It's difficult to kind of shift my damage back to Paragon 600 but just as long as your ancient pieces are good, I would think it's viable.
Looks like LuLu's fire WW build with an advertising spin...or hot magma which was developed long before this guide..

Solid answers to questions by the way...very confident.
I'm sure they were developed on the forums, but alas... there was no guide. So I made one for my fellow barbs. PS.. You can see me create the build from scratch on the stream at http://www.twitch.tv/lord_fluffy/v/51737992 or http://www.twitch.tv/lord_fluffy/profile/highlights . So credit is due to no one but myself.
Yea....just cause you make a video of you making a build, doesn't really prove you're the 'first.' As stated on the forums, Hot magma's been around & thought up & used by multiple people. I use diablofans all day as a dry erase board for build-crafting; yet I'm pretty sure (and have proven) all of my ideas were thought up & used prior to me posting.
Do you really want to be Kanye West, claim to be an original composer & then steal Daft Punk's (the forum's) thunder? You'd proly get more respect for citing sources. Are you going to invent plastics or flight miles next?
I'm not claiming to be "first", first doesn't matter here. I made a fun TX build on stream and there was no guide to be found for such on thing on DFans.. so I made one.
So what sources do I need to cite? Enlighten me? Search every crevasse of the interwebs for anything remotely similiar? Tao (Hot Magma's Creator) isn't getting his panties in a bunch over it, so why should you?
Ultimately everyone has stolen John Yang's build and item synergies.
There is no intellectual property on builds and builds need to be accessable to everyone in order to be played. And for me and countless other diablo players, that means a guide on DiabloFans. So AGAIN.. I made one because it wasn't there.
Why Dread Iron if you don't use Ground Stomp?
Because it rolls with 200% avalanche damage and Avalanche(Volcano) is our main damage dealer here.
You want to wear the dread iron because it rolls 200% avalanche damage. We don't care about the legendary effect.
More avalanche damage = more volcano damage as volcano is a rune of avalanche. See image below.
The original build had us cubing Zodiac, and it's good. But SG was much better as we need some damage that travels with us, especially when In geom is down.
great build. i will definitely try it out. only sad thing is that LoN is always so hard to gear for.
I know the 2 hander, Blade of the Tribes, gives up to like 200% increased earthquake dmg but is that really optimal compared to using 2 one handed weapons and using the blade in cube instead? In-geom would of course have to be one of them and then idk, hell even a sunkeeper with the increased elite dmg. And then with 2 weapons you open up another socket for 130% crit dmg with an emerald.
Faster atk speed, bonus elite dmg, 130% more crit dmg compared to just using the 2 hander with the bonus earthquake dmg? Granted that means 1 more weapon you'll have to farm for a good ancient roll but isn't that end result better?
I've definitely tested both variations and the Blade of Tribes version is far superior. Not only do you get 200% EQ damage but avalanche and EQ are calculated off weapon damage so a 2hander is significantly more damage. And being that volcano and EQ are the main sources of damage, its definitely the way to go. If WW was the main focus here, 2 1 handers would definitely be the way to go.

First of all, thank you for this build which is a real change of pace compared to the normal whirlwind specs!
I have a concern though, would i be able to play this build with a paragon of 600? because with LoN and paragon 1200 any build can be viable for t10 speedfarm.
Yes, you can have done up to Grift 45 easy at 650 paragon and fairly shitty ancients
Get magefire gloves.
Thanks for the update, LordFluffy. Rocking my first Barb for S9. Hype!
No problem! Good luck!
Love the looks of this build, but sense you have 19k strength and you can only spd a t10, I wish it could do T13
I need to do an updated video. Basically in 2.3, skull grasp got a huge upgrade, bop got a pretty nice buff and taeguk is easier to maintain. It's not the fastest TXIII build but it's definitely unique and fun and it's always nice to be able to gear for a LON build, adds some additional depth to gearing and farming.
Hey, great base build, however I found some room for improvements (for my own play style...the original build posted is certainly good as is).
I changed Volcano rune to Snow-capped mountain rune, and changed Magefist for Frostburn. I changed skull grasp in cube to convention of elements to take advantage of the two damage types (and whirlwind really doesn't do much with a 2H), and then I also took earthquake off my bar in favor of Wrath of the Berserker Insanity rune, which is almost constantly up with 50% cooldown + ingeom and the passive of course. I got rid of pound of flesh, as WotB adds movement speed anyways. All of these changes worked for me, but of course the base build going all fire works pretty damn well too. Nice job!
How Torment/GR can you do with that version? also whats the str of your barb with that version?
