Not many options here, except for the rings and belts.

You don't need to change any items when switching from TX nephalem rifting to GR60. You can (and should) change one cubed item, though.

Taking a 3rd offensive legendary gem is too risky (you will get oneshotted by many abilities), hence Esoteric Alteration.

Very basic stuff, just like most builds. The only somewhat important thing to note is that you should take maximum resource from the Core category.

Build Guide

My (ultimate) variation of the chicken farm build. The name comes from the 3-5 minute (TX 3, GR60 5) characteristics.

Core features:

Fast movement due to chicken. Absurdly high self heal with Firebats and Leeching Beasts. Easy to play. Easy to gear. Refined build from other chicken builds for more quality of life things and higher survivability without sacrificing any damage output. It's not the absolutely fastest or best WD farming build, but it's good enough. It's the best (in my opinion) non-LoN farming build.

Some key differences to other builds I've seen:

- Compass Rose and Travelers Pledge instead of Focus & Restraint-> same damage buff, 1 ability less required, 1 "extra" ring, more damage reduction while running as chicken

- No primary skill -> 1 "extra" ability to the bar

- Passive talent choices and paragons cater for mana management

How to play the build:

1. Go to chicken mode, find an elite pack or a large pack of normal monsters.

2. Explode the chicken.

3. Use Soul Harvest, Horrify and Piranhas on the pack.

4. Channel Firebats until the mobs are dead, if Hex (chicken) comes off cooldown before that, go back to 1.

When killing rift guardians in greater rifts, just channel Firebats (and pop Hex, Horrify and Soul Harvest on cooldown). The mana cost is sustainable for quite some time, can't use Piranhas unless there are adds you can juice some mana from with Soul Harvest.

Gearing options and other variables:

You can swap RorG for Unity for extra survivability. Not preferred, though - it's a damage loss. But it's still an option. If you take Unity, you need to swap away Mantle of Channeling as well.

The Witching Hour is the best belt, but you can use some other belts if you don't have a good one.

For the second ring, CoE and SoJ are both solid options.

For T10's, use Nemesis bracers in cube or equipped - preferably in cube so you don't need to change gear ever. But technically the optimized version is most likely to cube Coil's unless your's Coil's are with max legendary affix roll.

For GR60 you can still use Nemesis, but I prefer the extra dps and cc provided by Grin Reaper. Finding elite packs quickly is a non-issue for this build, so Nemesis's aren't mandatory for greater rifts. Lacumba's Ornament is another solid option to cube.

Little Q&A:

Q: Why farm GR60? Why not higher? Why not lower?

A: GR60 is in a sweet spot when it comes to efficiency. It's somewhat high level, still very cheap to empower, it's fast enough to clear. Level your gems to 61 in GR60 and level them higher in GR75+ with a real GR pushing spec. There is absolutely no reason to farm GR's lower than 60 if you are wearing a complete set of items for a solid build. Clearing a lower one doesn't go that much faster, yields less xp and less loot . The empower cost for 60's is negligible.

Q: Why maximum resource from paragons?

A: Synergy. It increases the effect of both Soul Harvest and Spiritual Attunement.

Q: Why Soul Harvest: Swallow Your Soul?

A: Spamming Piranhas (as Grave Injustice resets the cooldown) eats your mana quickly.

Q: Why Spiritual Attunement?

A: Due to the synergy with max resource and Swallow Your Soul -> makes it possible to take Pierce the Veil for maximized damage. Without these mana talents Pierce the Veil is unsustainable in both trash mobs and rift guardians.

Q: Why Compass Rose and Travelers Pledge?

A: For various reasons it's a superior set compared to Focus and Restraint for chicken builds.

The video shows me clearing a TX rift and a GR60 afterwards.
