Theorycrafting a Support Wizard at the moment, not fully complete.
Just theorycrafting a Support Build as I don't plan on rolling a Witch Doctor or Monk this season, and I suspect I'll get lazy of playing Twisters before too long. This would probably replace the Witch Doctor in a group. Depending on your Cooldown Reduction to spam Explosive Blast/Black Hole, you may need to also have a bit of Resource Cost Reduction to enable you to keep Aquila Cuirass' legendary power active.
Have a huge amount of damage reduction from Slow Time (4 Piece Delseres/Slow Time exhaustion rune), Tal Rashas 4 Piece 4 stack, Teleport Safe Passage, Aquila Cuirass and Orb of Infinite Depth. Don't buff the party anywhere close as much as the Witch Doctor, but you provide more safety and utility by running Black Hole - Event Horizon, which will absorb most Elites' affixes.
Unfortunately don't have enough cooldown to use the Bone Chill rune on Frost Nova since you aren't using Halo of Arlyse/Ice Armor, if you did run this you would drop one stack of Tal Rashas and one stack of Elemental Exposure as well.
A more speed-farming oriented setup would use In-geom in the cube as the Weapon choice, and support damage gems like Iceblink/Toxin gems.
A more defensive alternative would be to drop Teleport for Ice Armor - Crystallize Rune and wear a Halo of Arlyse over either of Oculus/Obisidian Ring. You would need to drop Aquila Cuirass so that you could wear Illusory Boots then so you can walk through monsters, or otherwise use it in the cube slot or something.
You can mix and match the Wizard's passives depending on the group setup and what gems/buffs/debuffs they are providing. You can replace Conflagration with Cold Blooded to give a bit more damage for your DPS class, Unwavering Will/Blur/Galvanising Ward provide more defense, Astral Presence/Illusionist provide more utility.
If you dropped the Aquila Cuirass for Tal Rashas chest (recommended due to 5 primary stats), you could probably roll a support Hellfire Amulet using one of the passives above.
