Build Guide
Here is the build I used to master the Delsere Magnum Opus Set Dungeon on the live server.
the set dungeon was changed from the PTR version, it is now much harder. the hardest among the wizard set dungeons.
Use Energy Twister to pull in a pack of mobs and cast Slow time on it.
Use Spectral Blades to kill Elites and to get Slow time back quicker for the reflect projectile objective.
To get the most out of the Wormhole rune and illusionist passive, try to cast the second teleport just before the 3 second limit after the first one.
With an ancient weapon, you should be able to one shot or two shot most mobs with spectral blades.
you can switch out unstable anomaly for blur or galvanizing ward, if you're afraid that the knock back will mess up your slow time attempts at the wrong time.
Check out the video.
This dungeon gets a lot easier if you bring a friend who kills the single mobs and elites and you just do the objectives.
Elites take too much time.
This build worked very well for me thanks!
Why are you using triumvirate if you're not using arcane orb?
Thanks for the build. Had some trouble with typical DMO builds (Arcane Orb then Twister), then adopted your principle of using Spectral Blades instead, and mostly worked like a charm.
Changes I made:
* Important - In-geom instead of Gesture of Orpheus. While Slow Time has a slower cooldown outside of the In-geom buff, it massively boosts Teleport, Slow Time, and even Wave of Force while it's up.
* Crown of the Primus instead of DMO helm, with RoRG instead of Ess. Essentially, really good damage boost and damage mitigation.
* The Oculus - very minor, but slight boost to teleport.
Got it on about my third attempt, completing the set dungeons for the 3 classes I levelled last season. Now I think I'll take a long deserved break, level up the other three classes during S6, and complete the rest of the dungeons. ^^
Oh, also, one tidbit regarding the two objectives: while any dense group of mobs will do, generally the scarabs are the best for the Slow Time on 30+ objective. As for the projectiles, I'd suggest doing it exclusively on the insects - the other ranged mobs don't throw nearly enough to make it time efficient.
Works for me. Thank you
I am basically finding out that hard way that this build's KEY dependant is the Ranslor's Folly bracers that cause the Energy Twister to pull in enemies. Without that (and the Ess of Johan), it is nearly impossible to pull in that many enemies, Black Hole doesn't pull from far enough away. I guess I will be mindlessly questing that specific item before trying it again.
Kind of disheartening, I thought the mastery would be more focused on the actual set, rather than other items to build up the set even higher than it would be alone. They should call it the DMO Plus other junk Mastery dungeon.
Wish me luck on my drops... XP
whoever said this one is hardest should uninstall the game.
uliana took me 3 days, 100+ tries. i got this mastery in 4th try with this build on a fresh wizard
Thank you so much! Second try. Switched INgeom instead of Orpheus as comments suggested -- very good due to the teleporting one can do to catch up due to the circular dungeon layout. Don't try to group up clumps of archers for the slowtime goal -- just keep killing until you get a group of scarabs, run them into anything else, twister+slow time = good.
Got it on 4th run through. As others mentioned above, switched Orpheus on the cube to In-Geom. Also switched to Primus helm so RoRG swaps with ESS in cube For the reflect achievement, ran into a large group of flies then cast the Time Bubble. Wait a few seconds (eternity) and bounce them back 40 at a time. After you get the 200 reflects, gather up the flies and the 3x 30 monsters in the time bubble will work naturally. The key is let the dungeon flow and don't rush it or panic if you don't get the achievements fast. Unlike many dungeons, there is plenty of time.
After 2.5.0, the achievement for the time bubble shoudl change to 4x 20 trapped in bubble. This should be even easier to group as I had plenty of 25 groups when I ran.
Did this dungeon on the very first go thanks to this build! All the thumbs up.
