Ring of Royal Grandeur
The build relies on a boosted 5pc Arachyr set, Manajuma knife+mojo and hexing pants. The rest is pretty much optional. However, the setup is pretty solid as it is, so there is not much space for changes. You need nemesis bacers to kill more elites, you need witching hour for more sheet and DOT damage. You need hellfire amulet for more useful passives. You need both DPS rings = Soj and COE for more passive "DOT" damage. You don't really need to cast anything except Soul Harvest and Angry Chicken.
If you feel you are lacking toughness = use goldwrap. Priceless item for "Nephalem" rifts. You can pretty much give up a lot of defensive rolls if you are killing things fast enough and gathering gold.
5th Passive is Confidence Ritual indeed.

Build Guide
It's very fast and very straighforward. I've used it since 2.3, but 6pc Arachyr had much lower damage, and not enough to one-shot elites even with 5 stacks of gruesome feast and soul harvest. On 2.4 PTR it worked like a charm though, with a boosted set. Eveything died so quick, so fast.
I tested it 2.4 Live and did many 40Grs under 2 minutes(!) and 45Grs under 3 minutes many times.
1) run around enemies in a chicken form spreading locust
2) explode only inside packs with elites to proc grave injustice
3) soul harvest to maintain 5 stacks as long as possible
4) gather health globes for gruesome feast 5 stacks.
5) Spam haunt and manual locust/firebats when Hex is on cooldown. RG dies
Firebats are there ONLY to help with the RG and nasty elites.
Remember to be always on the move to abuse Hexing Pants passive.
The rift would have to be exceptionally good to go under 3 minutes, but this build is pretty fast if you have the gear. Longest rift I've done with this on T10 was a little over 6 minutes and it was full of sparse hallways where I couldn't maintain my buffs. This build is, however, a lot more fun than most of the other "fast" builds out there which are essentially Helltooth pet builds with the Manajuma set tagged on to get around faster.
I personally didn't see the point of Firebats in the build at all, so I replaced it with Horrify - Frightening Aspect. It's pretty much a secondary oh shit button if Spirit Walk isn't up for whatever reason. It's also good for popping shrines with Nemesis so you can make some space if you need to wait on Convention to flip to Poison.
You never mentioned what the 5th passive should be if you can run a Hellfire, but I assume it's Confidence Ritual to increase your Angry Chicken burst damage.
For your gems, Invigorating Gemstone or Esoteric Alteration are probably better choices than Bane of the Powerful. The extra damage just isn't worth the additional survivability.
Thanx for the comment, bud!
You are right i forgot to mention about hellfire amulet, it is indeed Confidence Ritual. I've added.
As for Frightening aspect = it is purely optional. I ran a lot with Mass Confusion on right button, but so rarely did i use it...
As for Firebats: like i mentioned it's purely to help with RGs and elites when you are somehow on cooldown. Haunt and Locust without Jade2pc is too long to kill elites, so firebats can help when you need to facetank that "stubborn" elite.
As for gems: more damage -> more clear speed. The faster you kill the more effective you are. I don't really die, so i just need crazy dps and speed. This is how i managed to achieve crazy speed results. If you feel your toughness lacks = use ESO indeed.
I "speedrun" everything up to gr55-60 with that build.
Do you have any video of the build in action? I've put together a pretty good rendition of what you have here, thinking it would be good for trying to get my <3min rift objective, but I don't seem to be clearing the rifts that efficiently. Would love to see the build in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing.
hey there!
I wish i could record it, but it's very hard to find time and possibility since i have life after work :(. I can record at home (where i have powerful PC) but can hardly play there. But i will try
<3 min absolutely possible. Especially with some pylons and dense spider cave/graveyard cave. Even <2 possible with decent DPS (sheet dps must be at least 3 million though).
