just a t10 build i've been messing around with, works extremely well for just flying through rifts
THIS CAN BE MUCH FASTER, the only ancient item I have is a firebirds top

i'd throw aether walker in the cube so you can use wand of woe for the extra eb damage, pieces of tal's and firebirds can be switched just keep 3pc firebird and 5pc tals

a little bit about me is that i'm para 922 in my career i made it to 900+ in season 5 or something...i'm 38 years old and i was pretty good a d2 also...didn't really play d1.......
I'm going to try to make this in season 5 cause i like it so much........now i have made some changes and would really like to discuss them with you if possible. So we can make this better / min max it......maybe some expert wizards could chime in....
Ok to start i put nilfer's in cube to get 200% meteor...and i wear firebirds shoes.....
i even thought about using a 20% armor potion lol for more dmg reduction.....when needed obviously.....
other than that the cube is the same.......
i also run the passives like you but i switched dominance for blur 17% dmg reduction....because i dont have that prides fall cubed so i don't care about taking dmg or not.....and instead of what you are doing which is like reduce the costs of stuff so you save on arcane power, i'm going with the generate arcane power method.....you'll see some ways to do this further down......
now my 3 piece firebirds currently are shoulder, helmet, feet......
and 5 tals are gloves, chest, legs, amulet, and offhand......
just switch you pieces around to use ancients or better rolled pieces when possible.....
my belt is the new signature spells attack faster and gives you arcane power belt.....the shame of desirae.....so let's say i was ever out of arcane power, i just stand still and cast electocute for like 3-4 seconds and i'm full again. this hardly ever happens i'm raping t10 so much.....but if it does thats how you get arcane power to continue teleporting.....or casting spells.....
jewelry is focus, restraint, tals ammy.....
bracers are warz, or the new shield bracers ashnaggar's blood bracers to get more shield potency, even nemesis or with a longer frost nova ancient parthans? who knows lol.....i'm going to try shield bracers for now....i keep a pair of nems in my cube to switch to so i think it comes down to warz / ashnaggers / "maybe" ancient parthan with some testing with freeze.....
my thinking is that warz are fine i like the movement speed of course....but with teleport i feel that movmement speed isn't neccessary i dunno it helps.....just trying to min max things.......
i went with esoteric, powerful and trapped like you did as well......i was thinking about simplicities strenght (primary skills do more dmg and heal you for 2% of your max life....) for one of those......they all have their time and use.....maybe in grift 50+ i'm going to try this etc.....
Make sure you guys use frozen mist cause nothing else applies the stack from frost nova, and teleport calamity is the only one that applies arcane....
for example timing it means....cast explosive blast...teleport into a pile, freeze them, cast primary = they blow up lol
also instead of storm armor i went with energy armor prismatic armor for more armor and more reisstances.....so i don't die of course....i think ice armor is out of the questions cause you have to get meleed to increase armor but prismatic gives 35% more armor all the time i dunno.....let's think about the armors.......storm armor = a little more dmg but i find my dmg is ridiculous already so lol
i went with magic weapon force weapon 20% more weapon dmg......another choice is conduit for more AP (but i find i don't need ap), electrify doenst' trigger the electric part of tals set, and deflection like you have gives you a shield but i have some ancient gear and resists and more armor and all that so i find i'm not needing the shield.....not to mention i don't care about prides fall since i don't use it (which gives me a 200% guaranteed meteor)
now cause i have that awesome belt my electrocute fills up my arcane power real fast....i put it on electorcute arc lighthing is 310% weapon dmg ..so not sure why you use shock pulse....i dont' know the range of electro but it's good enough i guess.....remember when hota barbs would smash the floor on purpose to get more fury...it's the same thing with this....
i really like the build that's why i made this long wall of text to try to get a discussion happening to get this perfected for t10 and then some changes for solo grift modification......
I was able to rape grift 55 with simplicities strength, esoteric, and trapped....frost nova cold snap and ancient parthans....i dunno i'm so happy i like this build so much for fast raping lol just trying to make it better.
I just beat Grift 60 solo under 10mins with some modifications....I used obviously 3 piece firebird and 5 piece tals.....starting at the top my helmet was firebirds, firebird shoulds, tals ammy, tals armor, tals gloves, new arcane power belt, new armor potency bracers, my ring was halo (the new ice armor ring), and convention of elements. weapon was wand of woh, firebirds boots, tals offhand...
Gems were esoteric, trapped and stricken.........
cubed things were aether walker (teleport wand), nilfurs boots (meteor) and ring of royal grandeur....
skills were explosive blast chain reaction, frost nova (the cloud rune non-freeze), i used magic weapon force weapon, ice armor crystallize, electrocute arc lightning, and teleport calamity........
Still with all this i mean that ring is like 54% melee dmg reduction, and the potency = a lot more i guess.....and esoteric and tals set bonus for resists...STILL i get one shot sometimes and i don't know by what.....and i had 800k life at the time. But i beat grift 60 under 10 mins.....
this is a really fun build...i like it caus eyou're always spamming something haha....and you're teleporting around like crazy etc......i like it....and it's great for t10......so it's great for farming and great for gearing up and leveling gems, then find the grift 80+ builds and move into those perhaps.....

Posted Jan 5, 2016jesus this is long lmao, this is already optimized for t10 imo, the only wiggle room is changing magic weapon to conduit for more damage. for GR's I wouldn't even recommend trying to go higher than 60 with my setup, but that being said speed 60's can still easily be done without dying; this setup is not meant to try to push gr's and i would recommend it only for speed 50-60's and torment x speed farming

Posted Jan 12, 2016Can you please talk about the play style / set up you are using in this video? I am just now returning from over a year of not playing and was wondering how you are executing all of the skill combos. Judging from what I can see, you have autocast (numlock) on or u are using a macro of some sorts? Is this true? if so can you explain the order and the best way to set it up? I notice spec blade is going off all the time but you are not "pressing" it.
Also, do you have any tips on how to work to this build from scratch? If i roll a new char for s5 in an attempt to go this build, what are the key pieces i need early to actually start using it "half-ass". Any other suggestions on leveling/farming alterations that need to be made until I can get the majority of the gear here?
also if i ran this build in HC and needed to swap in a cheat death passive...what would you recommend i replace?

Posted Jan 13, 2016Yep, even without Wand of Woh, I blink into a yellow elite and it just dies within seconds. The build works great. One combo takes away half the guardian's HP.
@BlinG: Well, I wouldn't want to remove Dominance or Audacity. You can take it a bit slower and replace Evocation.
EDIT: Don't forget that the Firebird 2pc bonus is cheat death as well, so this build should be really friendly for HC.

Posted Jan 15, 2016good build, prides fall is just for rcr right? and the dominance shield protects you from taking dmg so it wont fall off? ive always hated PF but i guess its ok in the cube. you build must really use a lot of rcr due to constant tele, i suppose storm armor cutting some ap requirements out of skills helps.
i wish there was more cdr u could have for frost nova, 11 sec isnt good but 30% cdr or more would help out loads.

Posted Jan 18, 2016Your build is very good, but i would suggest changing spectral blade to Electrocute - Surge of Power. if you ever run out of AP from spamming teleport around you can quickly refill with electrocute, Spectral blade doesnt do anything special other than fill the lightning slot, and electrocute does that plus adds AP as well and it can be melee orientated also. For those new seasonal wizards starting out you will be very squishy if you dont have esoteric lvled up yet.
Also ice armor--crystallize is hard to beat, storm armor -3 ap is good too but i'm finding myself very squishy without IA, maybe later on i'll switch back to storm armor but so far its not helping that much.
