2.4 Garg Helltooth build(s)
This build focus' on killing elites and high density areas. Since the gargs do not have a large aoe i find it best to use piranhado's to group up mobs so your gargs can hit multiple enemies with each swing, area damage is also much more beneficial from these high density groupings.

Gems: Bane of the Trapped, Enforcer, Esoteric, Bane of the Stricken

Passives: Midnight Feast, Confidence Ritual, Grave Injustice, Gruesome Feast, Spirit Vessel, Swampland Attunement, Pierce the Veil


Bracers: You will want to wear the new "Lakumba's Ornament" bracer for the damage reduction that comes with each soul harvest stack you have.

Rings: You will want either area damage or average damage as your 3rd stat on rings due to the fact that your garg does not benefit from your attack speed on gear only from buffs such as TnTs and BBV.

Belt: You will want a witching hour that you can roll the attack speed off since it will not give your garg more attack speed. Your other option would be to use a String of Ears.
Group Alternative

When in group play you shouldn't need to use piranhado to pull mobs so with a few changes you can make a better more group beneficial build.


Item changes: 1. Starmetal Kukri for Sacred Harvester 2. Henri's Perquisition for Homunculus 3. Belt of Transcendence for Witching Hour


Skill Changes: 1. Haunt(poisoned spirit) for Piranhado 2. Big Bad Voodoo(slam dance) for Sacrifice


Gems: You should not need a defensive gem for groups so Bane of the Trapped/Stricken and Enforcer should be used.


Passive Options: The only change to passives would be to drop grave injustice cause without piranhado being used it's not as important of a passive to have on, it will only help you have a higher uptime on your spirit walk.
