Convention of Elements
www.twitch.tv/kenmasters2126 for updates
Shout out to Styder501, Kryptix, and Charliesan for the input on the build! I would also like to say that this build has been a smash up of observations on the current PTR with pieces of approaches from both Quin69's run with crusader and some of the top PTR Ladder posiiton holders. This is my personal take on smashing both of those builds together and has worked wonderfully so far. Will update with any GR rankings as we close in on the season.
KANAI'S CUBE! Blood Brother for block chance and increased damage on next strike, Aquila Cuirass for 50% DR since we use no resources, Convention of the Elements for the 200% physical proc.
LEGENDARY GEMS! Boyarysky's Chip for tons of thorn damage and extra taunt, Bane of the Trapped for slows and increased damage, Bane of the Stricken for extra bane.
AUGMENTS! On the topic of Augments which are included as a new mechanic that the Kanai Cube, Feathering between STR and VIT feel like the way to go on this. I will be working on stacking as much STR as possible on the gear going through the start of this PTR

With the inclusion of Heart of Iron you gain X% of your overall Vitality stat as an increase to your thorns damage. Stacking STR is very important though as this will boost the damage that the raw thorns number has. This can be put on the cube to maximize the secondary.
Attack speed is important for the 2 piece invoker set where you gain 50% thorns damage increased for each stack of it's bonus. Block chance as high as you can take it also help this build come together. At time of editing i have 91% block chance. This stack lasts only 2 seconds so slamming as many attacks into something mouth as fast as you can will be paramount to letting the build shine. Remember that you can only ever have an ACTUAL number of 75% block chance. Anything over that number will help Justice Lantern do what it does, as it checks the number and not your locked in chance.
CDR is also stupid amount of important for keeping your Iron Skin, and consecrate up and running as much as possible.
Crit hit and Crit damage are null and void here in this build.
Build Guide

This build operates almost like a zdps while you are building. Your sheet dps will fall through the roof but your off sheet dps will increase the more you attack, block, and the higher your core thorns damage crawls.
Rotation is Ironskin into Law into Consecration into Akarat's Champion then hold down that auto attack and spank some demons right in their blow holes. Make sure to use this rotation during the Physical proc of your Convention of Elements. The ring rotates through Lightning damage right before it moves into Physical so you can time your cooldowns from phys to phys during a run. Very important to have no less than 48% CDR to allow this to consistently happen outside of combat as well as inside of combat.
So the rings that increase dmg per ancient item are useless now ? It was 800% Pre-nerf but if u get all ancient items its 1300% or is Invoker just better any way you look at it ?
Bear in mind that I haven't actually played an Invoker Crusader on the PTR yet, but going by what I've seen from watching videos, it's all about the attack speed. Assuming that no further changes have been made, the 6 set bonus on Invoker applies 600% of your thorns damage on attack with Punish or Slash. As a dagger, Pigsticker has a higher attack speed than Hack, and, unlike Hack, Pigsticker can roll a "Increase attack speed by x%". Hack's legendary ability will, at best, only add around 100% of your thorns damage on attack. You are already getting 600% thorns damage per hit just from the set bonus, and the extra 100% per hit that Hack could provide on top of that probably doesn't make up for Pigsticker allowing you to apply that damage more rapidly with faster attack speed.
If I'm wrong about that, someone please correct me.
I love this build.
Using it in Hardcore for Season 5 and having a blast. Tanks well and spanks HARD with just enough nuke to blast away the trash. The Swiftmount flail makes Bounties a breeze, and there are several other swaps that can increase those already hefty defenses.
Strongly recommended, thank you!
