Convention of Elements
www.twitch.tv/kenmasters2126 for updates
Shout out to Styder501, Kryptix, and Charliesan for the input on the build! I would also like to say that this build has been a smash up of observations on the current PTR with pieces of approaches from both Quin69's run with crusader and some of the top PTR Ladder posiiton holders. This is my personal take on smashing both of those builds together and has worked wonderfully so far. Will update with any GR rankings as we close in on the season.
KANAI'S CUBE! Blood Brother for block chance and increased damage on next strike, Aquila Cuirass for 50% DR since we use no resources, Convention of the Elements for the 200% physical proc.
LEGENDARY GEMS! Boyarysky's Chip for tons of thorn damage and extra taunt, Bane of the Trapped for slows and increased damage, Bane of the Stricken for extra bane.
AUGMENTS! On the topic of Augments which are included as a new mechanic that the Kanai Cube, Feathering between STR and VIT feel like the way to go on this. I will be working on stacking as much STR as possible on the gear going through the start of this PTR

With the inclusion of Heart of Iron you gain X% of your overall Vitality stat as an increase to your thorns damage. Stacking STR is very important though as this will boost the damage that the raw thorns number has. This can be put on the cube to maximize the secondary.
Attack speed is important for the 2 piece invoker set where you gain 50% thorns damage increased for each stack of it's bonus. Block chance as high as you can take it also help this build come together. At time of editing i have 91% block chance. This stack lasts only 2 seconds so slamming as many attacks into something mouth as fast as you can will be paramount to letting the build shine. Remember that you can only ever have an ACTUAL number of 75% block chance. Anything over that number will help Justice Lantern do what it does, as it checks the number and not your locked in chance.
CDR is also stupid amount of important for keeping your Iron Skin, and consecrate up and running as much as possible.
Crit hit and Crit damage are null and void here in this build.
Build Guide

This build operates almost like a zdps while you are building. Your sheet dps will fall through the roof but your off sheet dps will increase the more you attack, block, and the higher your core thorns damage crawls.
Rotation is Ironskin into Law into Consecration into Akarat's Champion then hold down that auto attack and spank some demons right in their blow holes. Make sure to use this rotation during the Physical proc of your Convention of Elements. The ring rotates through Lightning damage right before it moves into Physical so you can time your cooldowns from phys to phys during a run. Very important to have no less than 48% CDR to allow this to consistently happen outside of combat as well as inside of combat.
Hey Ken what other new updates did you work on today, since I had to head off to work.
Hello!
What about new http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/justice-lantern instead http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/item/rogars-huge-stone ?
New Justice lantern - gain damage reduction equal to 50-65% of your Block chance.
Or life regen will be better?
Hey Serafim1991,
We are working with that item. I think Ken may of forgot to update this for that ring.
I have updated the build to now reflect the changes made yesterday with Justice Lantern and have also included a speed build made by a viewer and amazing player. Make sure to check it out and I hope you guys enjoy.
It's lookin good! Can't wait to see how far you can push with it. Thanks for showing some love my speedbuild
Amazing build, i didnt believe it til i start playing.
How about the shield that reduces the CD from Heaven's fury?

lol I had to figure out how DFans worked but I went ahead to put this together.
Well just tested. Eberli Charo is not good since you cant have 6 beams of HF, i tested Akarat's Awakening and it is the way to go, also i am using Prophet instead of Raly, same motive, Heaven's fury doesnt stack, only Conscration, and Prophet gives me a lot more mitigation.
Swapping Provoke for steed charge nightmare for more mobility.,
I have been consitently cleaning 84 within 8 minutes, my Thorns gem is at level 85.
I am using Esoteric Alteration (61) instead of Bane of Trapped.
Having more mitigation means you can tank lots of mob at same time without fear, proccing the CDR from Akarat's awakening.
If you keep running around, you will not have it proc to much.
I am almost perma Akarat this way, and i can cast Iron Skin all the time, Heave'ns Fury has 100% uptime.
Hi
After wipe seemed to me that Heaven's Fury don't damage like Heaven's Fury before wipe. Is it not really usefull now or i'm wrong about that?
This sexy bitch, plays good jams...TOP SADER!
Hi, the chance of blockage is up to 75% right?
Hold Your Ground in 2.4 is 30% + Akaratis awakening + - 30% +justice lantern 12% +Blood Brother 20% +Punish 15% = 107%.
107% Work? As the cap 75%.
