Posted Aug 6, 2019Hi Bludd, love your work!
Would it be better to use Skull Grasp on the cube instead the Band of Might?

Diamonds for high end, Rubies for speed.Rend is to use the Bloodbath rune, not part of the rotation.
You're doing damage with Rend, not WW... so Skull Grasp doesn't help.

Posted Nov 25, 2019Is there no need for life per fury, life per hit, anywhere in the build? It's not even secondary in any of the stat priorities..

Posted Nov 26, 2019Perhaps I'm missing something but what is the mechanism for fury generation in this build. I am struggling to keep fury up while playing..

Posted Nov 27, 2019Have you tried dropping Mantle from cube for Lamentation and swapping COE for RORG so you can run fit in Captain Crimson's? What I've been running lately and it's working pretty well.

Posted Nov 30, 2019Stomp to generate fury.
Hit your wrath and stomp the first mob you can to start, hit stomp as much as you can to keep it going.
CDR is very important for that

Posted Dec 21, 2019WW is an area dmg skill and it hits everything close. Physical rend is only slightly better when it comes to larger groups but lightning does more single target dps. I personally went that way because the best flavor of time I found so far is lightning but its nearly perfect on everything else and it might be the same with them but the only way to know for sure why they did it is to ask them. I am more curious as to why the person at the top uses Zeis over strikken when the build is so slow you wont be able to get far before the 1 second timer expires.
I think this all depends on the player but I find having max fury in paragon keeps me from running out or low between groups of mobs allot better.
Actually ww is what is mainly used to generate fury not stomp since you gain 1 fury each time you hit a mob. Also, waiting till you get in range to stomp the first mob you see can get you killed on high gr and is not recommended (you get fury from getting hit as well remember). So, what I do is stomp right away, walk to find mobs, get close, stomp if it's off its cd and if not just hold the whirlwind button down. It probably will not ww at 1st since you don't have fury but will attack the mob with a basic attack and piss it off which makes it more interested in hitting you. As long as you hold the ww down and keep the band of might buff up when the mob hits you once it should give you the fury needed to ww without dealing enough to kill ya and that is all it should take to get enough to ww once. So if you are holding the ww button down
That is the setup I use because I did the math earlier on and mantle+coe should give more dps and toughness on average but the devs must have put in a system to add diminishing returns to these stats because after I put gear on which has max cdr for every slot you get it I end up with much less cdr then the math says I should have. The stats show that helm diamond +12.5%, gloves +8%, both weapons +10%, +10%, both rings +8%, +8%, ammy +8%, set bonus +20%, paragon +20%. Yet for some reason, I am only at 66% despite using a calculator to do the math beforehand and double-checking. Furthermore, if I open the stats menu and remove a ring while it's open I go from 66.36% down to 63.43% even though the ring I remove has +8% cooldown reduction on it (proving it only adds like 3% to my cdr). Therefore mantle+coe is better for some reason despite the math saying otherwise.

Posted Dec 26, 2019Here is another tip that I did not know before (so read my previous post as well). The game does not remove fury when starting a gr. This means that before the gr you can equip bull kathos set using armory. Then after you are at max fury quickly swap back to the grifting build using armory and start a gr and if done fast enough you will still have most of your fury from before (allowing you to use battle rage and sometimes even ww till you get to the next mob. You can not cast the battle rage before the gr tho since a gr resets all skills and cd so don't waste the fury.

Posted Jan 8, 2020Actually mantle does not prevent stun, so after that change you will still be having the same problem. The only way I have found to stop stun effects while solo requires you to replace the ancient spear with ignore pain but then you will not be able to go as high gr. If you are not solo the way to stop the stun is get the right support in there with ya (most of the top support builds have built in anti cc just for that reason).
