Build Guide
An alternative to Zcrusader with diminished lag and more utility. For the Wizards who cant get into gr
Put your spoiler here.
oups this build is perfectly viable for high grs even up to GR 80 and speeds. Passive Conflagration will provide a 6% crit chance boost when using Sunder in Cube. Coldblooded will also provide 10% more damage boost with 10% more crit. This build will allow full use of Elemental exposures 20% damage boost. Blur is for survivability as well as unwavering presences as often u will be not moving to cast arcane torrent and proc the SC. The Highest priority though especially when engaging elites or multiple elites is the wizard focuses using black hole to eliminate Elite affixes IE (Orbiter/Pulse/Fire chains/Arcane/Molten/Plagued/Poison enchanted) doing this will allow a group to engage elites without worry as well as mitigate lag. Also Must keep slow time up upon the group for extra damage Mitigation, increased damage, and attack speed. Hope everyone enjoys this build and if you have any questions feel free to ask or give input. First Build guide ever.
Still underdevelopment for maximizing but this is a starter guide for Z wiz
This build was put together and theory Crafted between myself Muz/Aleging Tuna both good and confirmed Z dps wizards
Feel free and check me out at Twitch.tv/Wildbill_69
can confirm, is great
Legit build/guide, I'll be working on getting me a set going
Will try it when I get the gear and gems
can confirm, does no damage
Nice change to add the ranslors
i posted pretty much the same thing a few daxs ago here maybe u wanna check it out. with 8 apoc u can get rid of conduit and maybe get in teleport to solve movement issues.
is there a specific reason to use SoH?
that was my guide, maybe u wanna consider dropping shield :-)

oh well, now wiz might actually get some more attention.
greetings Scrya
Didn't even know however movement isn't much of an issue if you se illusory boot plus you can get other stats for survivability when using conduit rather than getting Apoc Gear. Regardless its nice to know people have come to similar Conclusions and hopefully wizards get their chance to shine again
I agree but disagree at the same time my build in generally is easier to gear as most gear is crafted an easier to obtain to each their own I had already been working on this build just before muz introduced me I feel that u don't need as much rcr or crit in the build with the current outlet and the toughness is extremely higher even without an armor there's plus sides and negatives on both ends. The best thing about this is the fact that it can go many variations yet.
Thanks for posting this interesting build:
2 questions regarding Elemental Exposure:
- Does ice nova procs the cold 5% debuff ? it says "damaging enemies..." but ice nova deals no dmg with this rune.
- After testing Sunder, would you say it's reliable for sustained fire damage over time?
1 question about ice nova's rune: "deep freeze"
- By reading it, it seems it only gives 10% CHC to the wiz, not to others or am I missing something?
Sorry I edited the build the rune meant to be used was the 33% additive damage and that will proc EE as well as affect the partys damage.
So yesterday we PL a wizard and he was ready to go in less than 1h. After 3 test runs : 70-72-74 with full xp group gear, the results were really awesome. here's a small feedback:
- mobs/elites are literally melting, I mean more than with Zcruz. When all buffs/debuffs are up, a blue elite can die within 10sec (with enough mob around)
- The run is a lot safer with better crowd control and the removal of ground affixes
- Although i don't know why, RG is put down faster. Not twice as fast but we concluded it was definitely quicker with wizard than w zcruz.
With slight stuff/build modifications (and dropping xp gear), I think we might see wizards getting in 4-men leaderboard.
There are several z wiz build guides out there I officially made mine for the build considering most of the gear is crafted and very few pieces need to be farmed. So it is a very easy build to gather and put together tats the plus side I'm glad you guys enjoyed it and the safety from elites in it I'm still contemplating a build/gear for pushing and glad you guys enjoyed it as well. Thanks for the Feed back guys. Also you can all check me out sometime at Twitch.tv/wildbill_69
Any of the passives that are on the build are primarily what you want on your hellfire but evocation could be a good substitute
