Alternatives:

  • Andariel's helm can be used here instead of the Eye of the Storm helm if you do not have one. You will lose out on some Lightning % Damage and potentially additional spirit from the secondary stat but will gain some Attack Speed.
  • For solo play, replace Convention of Elements in the cube with Unity. Go Unity for solo runs, Convention for group clears.
  • Go for Hellfire Amulet with Exalted Soul passive for more damage output (bigger spirit pool=more damage with Shenlong's set)..
  • If in a group with a Sunwuko EP Monk let the SWK Monk run with Mantra of Retribution - Transgression and switch yours out for Mystic Ally - Air Ally since this type has the best proc coefficient for the Static Charges. If you are struggling to survive, you can switch the Air Ally for Enduring Ally for more health and health regeneration.

Overview:

  • Use Breath of Heaven to generate more spirit when using primary spirit generators. Should be using this on cooldown mostly.
  • Apply Static Charge (SC) to enemies with Fists of Thunder (FoT). This will also proc your Focus/Restraint (F/R) buff for 50% more damage.
  • Use Dash every 4 seconds to proc the other F/R buff for an additional 50% damage. Also use Dash to get away from bad situations or for movement. Dash will spend spirit instead of consuming a charge with Raiment 4-set bonus.
  • In monster grouping situation use FoT to place SCs on most monsters. This lasts 6 seconds, so make sure to use Way of the Hundred Fists (WotHF) when grouped to proc the SCs the most and watch the monsters just melt.
  • Damage will come from auto attack FoT, Static Charge from FoT. Damage from WotHF is only applicable in grouping situations. Use FoT on single targets (i.e., Rift Guardian).
