Build Guide
after many hours of playtesting around static charge, testing all the coeffeciency of the sader kit, this is the most effective build I have found.
You can basically maintain 100% uptime on blessed hammer at up to and over 5.0 aps.
Cdr>aspd>rcr>survival would be the start priority in my opinion, this is all still preliminary so i'm not going to set anything in stone just yet, but still maintain that the skills is the most effective setup you can have at this time. You can obviously change hasteful for Prophet if your going to do progression for survival. and I've tried pain enhancer and fire starter on akarats boys, Save yourself a headache and don't do it. Servers can't handle it oyu just crash games in even lackluster density.
I Will be making a youtube guide as well as linking a d3planner to this. Just try it out lmk what you boys think.
Basically just maintain 100% uptime on all your kit and spam hammers. since your zbarb will be running slaughter meta to synergize with your group, your scouting will suffer, with 100%uptime on steed charge you can basically scout the whole map at no threat to yourself so when density wanes you should be ahead of the group finding pylons or pathing to next anchor point. This will allow the zbarb to focus on dragging previous elites or minimal density to next position. I've tried the whole control kit for sader (sweep, condemn, draw and quarter.) 1. you dont need it because the barb and monk will cover that base. 2. even if you take them, the monk and barb will dr them into the ground and they become ineffective slots.
Feel free to leave comments but i think you boys will find this to be one of the most optimized guides at this time.
Thoughts.
Steed feels like the most elective slot you have. could be osmehting better like Fist of heaven fissure if you can support it effectively
The cube as well, namely the weapon slot could be skywarden or something else more effective. but this was the most optimal build I've found for speeds and uptime.
The problem with condemn is it doesn't have enough reliable uptime vs hammer to proc at the rate which hammers does, but it's def viable ot remove steed for faith in cube and condemn instead of steed, but hte lack of mobility is real
hey dude, did you test zeal with omnislash? if so what did you think? was it a close contender?
Can't wait to see youtube guide, getting bit bored of the same monk monk barb barb setups.
Looks ok , but what are the gem's used on ur helm , chest & pants ? , & stat's on the armor so we know what to roll for other then that , gunna test this to see how it runs tonight
Super cool build dude! Would the set-up be sup barb, heal monk, this crusader and a static monk or is something else more promising? If so, what else could work well? WD instead of sup barb since they also proc static quite well(?)?
Nice to see Crusaders getting some time and attention. Will give this a try and provide feedback if I have any.
has this been tested for if its better in clear times versus exploding palm support
Why you use Shield Glare instead of Provoke with Too Scared to run ?
because the aoe blind is more effective for scouting in speeds, but for progression provoke too scared to run with 2 pc seekers is superior. I will be posting a progression build at some point. I'm editing my youtube video so I will be posting that and covering all these questions.
You don't run toxin, use mutilation guard. Toxin itself is creating a lot of lag
theres a lot more to the lag then just you, it can be composition of group, dust devils, slaughter, fof on heal monk depends on a ton
Yeah Judgement Does the same thing so by that time its already ond r, but yeah its not too huge of ad eal on boots
Sometimes there would be an SWK, but most of the time its something like this.
Wait this replaces swk ?
No, but it just gives crusader viability in the current 4 player metagame
Wake me up when wizard / dh / crusader / wd are equally as viable as monk or barb.
Positioning is something that takes a little getting used to. You basically wanna rotate yourself around density to create the most value on the arc of Blessed Hammer itself, pivoting around the center of density.
This is mostly up the heal monk/zbarb on where they want to anchor while transitioning between density, again this meta suffers from low density/bad tiles so trying to get the most value you can is key.
This is a really good question about gabriels vambraces, basically without LAOTL, you wont have 100% uptime on rgs, which is where crusader's laws of valor really shine. This basically guarantees you 100%uptime on wrath so you will always have 100% Uptime on your kit.
I've literally never had a problem maintaining Laws of Valor. I guess the positioning and getting values on hammers is a big thing but you can see from the video its up 100% of the time.
Yeah I agree that rcr isn't a hugely important stat, but in speeds and without alot of min maxing ppl will find it more relevant. But I agree with you 100% that you dont need it.
These are all great questions and appreciate you taking the time to ask them.
Thanks for theorycrafting, testing and establishing this great build!
I prefer to use Leoric's Signet over Ring of Royal Grandeur. In my opinion the XP bonus more than makes up for the mobility loss with no Swiftmount.
would this comp / setup be out pacing the current SWK comps? Also i saw modz post and would like to get some of your insight regarding the difference of the builds thanks
