  • Affixes
  • Orange are required. Yellow are preferred. Green are the easiest to exchange or make due without.
  • Secondary resists are preferred on items. In general, shoot for at least 450k life, 400% CHD, 50% CHC, and 90% AD.

  • CDR
  • With CDR listed, you will have 67.97% CDR. This allows for a 1.92s CD on EB, 3.84s CD on Black Hole, and 3.52s CD on Teleport.
  • Quicker casts = more Tal Rasha uptime, more damage, and increased CC / survival.

  • Area Damage
  • You'll want at least 2 affixes dedicated to area damage, 3 or 4 would be better. With paragon, this will give you anywhere from 90% to 134% AD.
  • For a bit more info on area damage, see this video. Chain Reaction's fast attack allows AD to proc fairly often.

  • The Cube
  • Furnace - As no other elite damage is present, this provides the largest damage boost, and greatly lowers clear time.
  • Leoric's Crown - Required to meet CDR Levels. Can be swapped for Krelm's buff belt. See Swaps section below.
  • Convention of Elements - When combined with other bonus damage (Tal Rasha + Bastions of Will), allows for even greater damage increase. Synergizes well with Tal rasha concept, increasing damage of abilities that don't necessarily do much otherwise, and further increasing EB damage. Meteors are on a separate timing, so CoE will increase meteor damage as well.

  • Core - You should not have to assign VIT or Max Resource.
  • Offense - After CDR, CHD = CHC in priority. Assign whichever you are lacking the most.
  • Defense - Unless you are running with Gizzard, Life regen > Life % after other defense options.
  • Utility - RCR > AD only if you start running out of AP, otherwise AD > RCR.

Build Guide

Shunpo is a term referenced from the anime Bleach, that describes quick movement or "Flash Steps".
Channeling this ability, the wizard directs a chaotic whirlwind of power and destruction, decimating foes.
Other aspects of the Shunpo user include the ability to misdrect their enemy in battle, and on occasion, summon speed clones.

Purpose
  • Farm TX for Rift keys, greater legendary drop chance, and death's breath in balance. Sage set is included under the Swaps section below. CoE provides too much of a damage boost to pass up, at least for Torment X.
  • I love the way this build plays!.. super fun and you don't have to think about teleporting around like you would with In-Geom.
Strategy
  • Stun enemies with Teleport (Calamity) and Magic Missile (Glacial Spike). CC and group enemies together with Black Hole (Supermassive). Images will also taunt, stun and CC for you.
  • Run over gold to gain defense and speed. Kite the rift boss near other mobs or extra gold and pick up occasionally as needed.
  • With Strongarms equipped, make sure to place Black hole on high value targets. With APD equipped, use your stun abilities to gain additional defense and survive when the Goldwrap buff is down.
Passives
  • Audacity - Required.
  • Evocation - Required.
  • Illusionist - Allows for high mobility. Buff will be up almost 100% of the time. Recommended.
  • Glass Cannon- Higher damage allows quicker clear. As long as you keep the goldwrap buff up, loss of defense is not an issue. Recommended.
Configuration
  • Use Teleport on left click to easily direct your character without activating force move. Use (force stand + teleport) to activate Teleport.
  • Use the num lock method on Explosive Blast and Mirror Image. While the casting is not perfect (I notice ~.3s gap between blasts), it is better than I could ever do in rotation.
Swaps
