So you want deaths breaths huh? Well you've come to the right place. I've tested many builds and classes whilst searching for the best way to satisfy my addiction to the pesky material. This is what I have come up with and is the fastest way of farming deaths breath in the game in my opinion. With this build you can push 600+ DB an hour depending on your gear, and maybe even higher depending on your skill.
The build revolves around my best friend, In-Geom. Which allows us to dash everywhere and pick up all the things! Also we are running 2 pieces of sages set with RORG to give us those extra juicy deaths breath drops (This is what allows this build to be the best).
Next we are also using two pieces of Uliana's set for the bonus that applies our exploding palm every third hit. Couple this with the 2 piece bonus of the Raiment of a Thousand Storms set: Spirit generators have 25% increased attack speed and 300% increased damage and we have an excellent way of spreading our exploding palms by using Crippling wave- Tsunami and Gundo Gear.
All of this together doesn't seem like much damage, and it really isn't. Until we combine it all with our Shenlong's Spirit Fist Weapons. These weapons give our spirit generators 1.5% increased damage for every point of spirit we have (so try to get lots of spirit on your gear), and when reaching maximum spirit, all damage is increased by 100% BUT once at maximum spirit we drain 65 spirit PER SECOND until running out of spirit and thus removing the 100% damage bonus. That is were the legendary spirit stone The Laws of Seph comes into play. The legendary affix of this spirit stone allows us to regenerate 165 every time we use blinding flash. This coupled with our spirit generator is more than enough to maintain nearly maximum spirit even while shenlong's debuff drains our spirit. And for the finishing touch, I've added harrington's waistgaurd, since we will be dashing around everywhere with this build, we have extreme mobility, making chests easy to loot. Remember that Harrington's works on much more than just chests though! ie: dead bodies, armor racks, etc.
Note: You can definitely use any generator you want, and I am fully away that Crippling Wave-Mangle does more damage than it's cold counterpart. But I found the latter to be a little bit better at clearing trash mobs without many stragglers, and the former a bit faster of the RG. You can use whatever rune you like with this build but I chose to go for the most area damage. This is totally personal preference and doesn't matter much.

Build Guide
Now you might be wondering how to play this build, and it's really very simple:
1. Find an elite, champion, or unique mob and dash into the center.
2. Pop your blinding flash which now generates a good chunk of our maximum spirit, and also increases our damage nearly 30% and then use a cyclone strike to bring everything to the center of your screen, right on top of your character.
3. If you think you'll need epiphany, now would be a good time to use it. Even though it doesn't really matter because our cooldown's will be reduced drastically in a moment anyways.
4. Start spamming your generator, crippling wave. This will not only bring our spirit up to gain our shenlong's buff, but also applies Exploding palm to all the enemies you've just cycloned right into our range. Not to mention the damage isn't bad at all
5. Once the monsters have exploding palm applied from our 3rd hit of the generator, they should be almost dead so just keep auto attacking until they go
pop!
6. If the monsters start to run away, just give them a gentle nudge back into your arms with a cyclone strike and you'll be back in business. (This also keeps them in Exploding Palm explosion range, so it's good practice)
7. Watch your spirit and try not to spam cyclone strike too much as you'll lose your shenlong's buff and drop your damage by A LOT.
8. CLICK ALL THE CHESTS, SHRINES, DEAD BODIES, ARMOR RACKS, AND ANYTHING ELSE THAT WILL PROC YOUR HARRINGTON WAISTGAURD TO KEEP UP THAT HUGE DAMAGE BUFF.
9. This build relies heavily on in-geom for speed, so you ideally only want to engage champion, or elite monsters, treasure goblins, and RG to keep up the speed.
10. I suggest clearing each rift with this build as it is very fast and the 30 seconds you will wait while closing the rift you could be getting valuable deaths breath drops.
Hey dude, thanks for the comment. I never really thought about using nemesis bracers but I think that will be my go to from now on I also tried to use 4p Raiment, but it just wasn't cutting it because I'd lose my shenlongs buff too often because of it. Also, I didn't find that FD made much of a difference in the lower torments but in higher ones it definitely is a game changer. I'm not sure if I like public games with this build as much because it makes the mobs a bit harder to kill and I'm way ahead of everyone else 99% of the time so I'm the only one doing damage, but if you are a bit weaker then public could definitely be the way to go.
Nice job, as a noob monk I was looking for something that was fun and good at farming, and since I was used at Uliana's EP build, that's hard to find. This build lets me play some different styles and I actually get more Breath's as well. At least, as soon as I master this. But it's fun
would really like to see stat priority added to this guild
Could this build be changed to a dual generator build? If you change Cyclone Strike and Crippling Wave to Fist of Fury and Static Charge and change EP to The Flesh is Weak then your generators should pack quite a punch (pun intended). You'd have to manually apply EP every few seconds to proc Focus and Restraint but the extra 20% from EP:TFiW should make your generators melt enemies.
THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried a lot of builds but your is far far far better, even work on hc !!! thanksssss
