Kanai's Cube

stat priority for all items should be similar to offensive paragon priority: crit damage first, then attack speed, then area damage. beyond that, buff fire damage and grenades, then rain of vengeance and sentry turrets. Aim is for 2pc Unhallowed Essence, and 4pc body items for Natalya's Vengeance (hand crossbow picks up the 5th piece of Natalya's, which activates the 6pc set bonus via Ring of Royal Grandeur in cube's jewelry slot.) If you can't get a RoRG to cube, go for Natalya's Reflection ring for the 6pc, and I'd recommend Compass Rose + Traveller's Pledge to pick up the crit damage in the Endless Walk's (2pc) set bonus. belt, cube's armor slot, and Simplicity's Strength leggy gem buff Cluster Grenades; Gogok should be maxed stacked most of the time (cluster grenades hit a lot); and bane of the stricken, Calamity (off-handed or cubed), and Marked for Death - Grim Reaper make sure the mobs feel the pain.

EDIT: go for sockets on the weapons, and gem emeralds. cube the rucksack. if you can't get your (off)hands on a Calamity, go Helltrapper, and use Marked for Death - Contagion.

Core: should be straightfoward. I've never had a problem with hatred (as the main damage is the hatred generator anyways), and 2pc Unhallowed Essence should deal with any Discipline burned on Vaults (either defensively or offensively)

Offense: a mirror of item stat priorities, crit damage because Sharpshooter passive, followed by attack speed. CDR helps if you find yourself having to reposition all three of your turrets too frequently (such as room-to-room in a Keep map,) and with CD on Vengeance. Crit chance is lowest priority because all it does is fill in the baseline when sharpshooter is on CD (I suspect some threshold of crit chance makes Sharpshooter statistically weak, but I don't know how to do that math.)

Defense: I often go toe-to-toe with melee mobs and cluster grenade / RoV-Anathema directly on myself, but I do get in trouble with ranged mobs, especially magic users, and arcane enchanted, fire chains, plagued, desecrator, and frozen pulse champions. resistance should help with that, otherwise flavor to will.

Utility: area damage, followed by life on hit. there shouldn't be need for resource cost reduction, unless you are for some reason Vaulting all the time without attacking.

Build Guide

I stumbled into this build as legendaries started coming my way when I hit lvl 70. Cluster Grenade is my usual go-to Primary, and when I got Hunter's Wrath, I suddenly found it doing more damage than any of my Secondaries (such as my career DH's frost elemental arrow with 4pc marauder's.)

EDIT: swapped off-hand and cube. for some reason, it never occurred to me that +CHD in an off-hand weapon is better than +dex in a quiver. But now I know, and knowing is half the battle! ("D. H. Joooooeee")
