  • Weapons i suggest with 4 perks, pref. %attack speed to get maximum frames for WW + Ramaladni's Gift (WW calculator - http://whirlwinner.herokuapp.com).
  • Vitality VS. HP% you can use excel to calculate individual breakpoints.
  • Secondary stats: lighting rez, physical rez is my favorite.
  • Gems i mix "all resistance" and "STR" depends on situation.
  • Head gem i used 23% HP.

Build Guide

I tried different variations with sets: classic Wastes WW, pure IK, IK HoTa. But I was lacking durability or damage. I don’t like Wastes WW because dust devils are too random and it’s hard to apply constant damage over time, and i dont like glass cannon builds.

So I came up with this build, which shine in a group but also can solo grifts.

Results so far with 2 ancients and 80% items with fail stats (Attack 2.7 mil / Def 89 mil / Regen 3 mil in combat.):

  • X torment portals / bounties – zero risk, average speed.
  • Solo 50 gRift in my poor gear.
  • Great in 3-4 groups 60+ gRifts, almost never die. Tanking, scouting, rezing, forming sweet packs for AOE etc.

Pros:

  1. Instant death recovery, you can spam Battle rage for faster Taeguk stacking (rage is infinite in combat situations). Other than that you have all skills available after rez.
  2. Group utility – War cry is a great survival, Battle Rage can be replaced by Spear for pulling or Threatening Shout for extra damage and survival.
  3. Sustained – no random, uptime 100% on all skills.
  4. Great mobility – you can use this build for scouting and grouping mobs, run speed +75% and a 0CD Charge. Nothing can stop you, while you move you can not die.
  5. Tanky – this build can reach great survival values, and if you want even more then swap Zerker rage rune for damage reduction and Nerves of Steel for Sustained. You can block mobs in doorways and allow your glass canon mates to unleash their pew-pew.

Cons:

  1. No burst – you don’t have any big numbers skill
  2. Medium damage – it’s hard to compare with other classes since there is no DPS meter in this game, but I have a filling that alone I’m killing mobs slower than Demon Hunter or other pure DD classes or builds.
  3. Reduced damage in boss fights – Furious Charge is used as rings set activator, since some bosses are single target - FC cooldown is 8 sec while rings buff 5 sec. + Rampage will expire.

If you have any suggestions please share, will gladly update the build. I hope its viable for 70+ rifts with proper stats and more ancients.
