Kanai's Cube
This is a solid Hardcore build for the new Arachyr set with a Frog theme, that can easily reach GR45+ with a lot of style.
It rotates around the use of Plague of Toads to keep enemies confused and Insect Swarm to slow them across all the map, while your (2) set bonus Spider Queen deals some substantial damage and the Grin Reaper's copies cover the map with our abilities.
Abilities explained:
- Plague of Toads, Addling Toads: Our main ability to spam, it confuses mobs so they will tank for us and the toads explode twice thanks to the Rhen'Ho Flayer
- Piranhas, Piranhado: Our main mana spender to control enemies and proc Focus/Restraint and Strongarm Bracers
- Spirit Walk, Jaunt: Classic ability to get out of troubles
- Hex, Jinx: Polymorphs enemies and spawn Toad of Hugeness thanks to our (4) set bonus, that increases substantially our survivability
- Corpse Spider, Spider Queen: We will never use this skill, but Grin Reaper's mimics will use this spell and make our (2) set bonus Spider Queen move to our enemies
- Horrify, Frightening Aspect: Controls the enemies and grants us extra armor to increase our survivabilty while casting Plague of Toads, to cast every 8sec if possible
Gear explained:
- Spirit of Arachyr: The new Witch Doctor set, it provides us with a permanent Spider Queen that deals 4000% weapon damage over 5sec, adds Toad of Hugeness rune to Hex and modifies it to give us some great sustain through 40% damage reduction and 10% of max hp every sec, and increases by 800% the damage of our Toads/Spider Queens/Insect Swarm/Toad of Hugeness/Piranhas
- Grin Reaper: (inside the Kanai's Cube) It spawns 2 Mimics that will use our equipped spells, especially the Spider Queens that will make our (2) set bonus Spider Queen move toward enemies
- Rhen'Ho Flayer: Basically increases the damage and reliability of our Plague of Toads
- Thing of the Deep: Increases our pickup radius by 20yd, buffing Grave Injustice's reliability and our survivability thanks to health globes (and fits our frog theme ^^)
- Strongarm Bracers: They will increase our damage against mobs hit by Piranhado, even the one cast by Grin Reaper's Mimics
- Wormwood: (inside the Kanai's Cube) It casts Insect Swarm on virtually every mob on screen, which is buffed by our (4) set bonus
- Hwoj Wrap: Slows by 80% every mob on screen thanks to our Wormdwood
- Focus/Restraint: Boosts our damage by 100%, thanks to Plague of Toads/Piranhado combination
- Unity:(inside the Kanai's Cube) For solo play, reduced our damage taken by 50%
- Convention of the Elements:(inside the Kanai's Cube) For group play, increases our average damage by 50%
Playstyle:
- Starts with Hex and Horrify to boost our Toughness
- Piranhado to pack enemies and proc our Strongarm Bracers
- Spam Plague of Toads
- Remember to cast Hex/Horrify/Piranhado whenever they come out of cooldown
- Grin Reaper's Mimics will take care of the rest
Legendary Gems:
- Esoteric Alteration: Drastically Improve our Toughness
- Simplicity's Strenght: Boosts the damage of our main ability, Plague of Toads
- Bane of the Trapped: Boosts all of our damage since Insect Swarm slows everything on screen

What passive would you recommend for hellfire, what changes would you make for non hardcore?
Not OP but I'll try to answer this one. I'm trying this build out because i'm at paragon 500 and i'm kinda bored with hellfire/chicken/darts and want something different for a while.
He says it's not for over 45 so for nonhardcore I'd drop horrify and replace it with Languish. This would give you added defense from the armor proc as well as boost your damage a bit.
Replace Bad Medicine with fetish psychophants. This will still give defense since they will tank for you as well as give a LOT of damage.
As a hellfire passive I'd go with Confidence Ritual, Creeping Death, or Swampland Attunement depending on your play style and needs.
