I'll have a proper write up before the start of season 4, but this build is comparable with Zombie Bears.
I'd recommend running Starmetal Kukri with Slam Dance instead of Piranhado for group runs, unless you already have another Witch Doctor bringing this buff.
The damage over time effects of multiple slow burns stack with each other. Firewall's DoT's stack together as well.
The 5th passive is Spirit Vessel.
You could run Pierce the Veil over Confidence Ritual if you want, Confidence Ritual allows you to spam Acid Cloud more, the trade off is needing to be in close range.

I tried it and was able to get to grift lvl 52 which was 1 lvl higher then my previous best. However it was really difficult (died 5 times) and I am unable to go further because I get my ass kicked by the elite elemental damage (molten, freezing, etc.). I just saw someone suggest replacing bane of the powerful with Gizzard and maybe ill try that next after I level that gem up (its at rank 25 atm). Does bane of the stricken really matter more then bane of trapped for higher lvl grifts though because I honestly dont see how its better since with your aoe skills only 1 person will get effected by the gem?
why Gizzard Gem it shows Bane of the Trapped ?
Yes but you have 3 possible gems not just 1 and if you had read my post it clearly says they suggested you replace bane of the powerful with gizzard. They are getting all the info posted by the author on the youtube page and bringing it in here. So if you did that the gems you will be left with are gizzard, esoteric alteration, and either bane of the trapped or stricken as last gem.
What's a good "Amulet" if we don't have the Hellfire Amulet ?
The ones that prevent all poison/fire damage and heal you for a bit of the damage prevented are the best since they add a ton of survivability against elites and rift guardians). Anyway I tried it with the changes suggested and still couldn't make it past 52. So I swapped a convention of elements for the one that heals me when I take fire damage in cube and noticed a huge difference in survivability which was my biggest problem. I was still unable to clear it though because i couldn't kill fast enough but i did manage to do allot better/faster none the less. I think I will just have to wait for them to release better equipment before I can go higher because I just cant do it with this build and I refuse to take advantage of the snapshot exploit. I wish they would fix pets already and make there toughness scale with the difficulty since that would be 1 of the best builds for me.

2.3 70+ Zombie Bears/Firewall Helltooth[/header]2.3 Acid Cloud 65+ GRIFTS Helltooth Fire and Ice is better for me because of the range, the fact that it does not get caught on things so easily, and it leaves a blob of slime to do damage to mobs that didnt get hit by the original attack. I tried the zombie bears and got screwed on the cave grifts or the map that is like a cave with no walls (similar to the realm of the banished). There are just to many things that can get in your way which would prevent the bears from working properly because they run into a wall, the floor, etc. Furthermore If you cast zombie bears you will see it summons 3 bears that will do 520 damage each which totals out to 1560 damage. Now acid cloud does a base of 300% + 720% damage over time on the ground from the slow burn rune + 600% damage over time from the lob blob rune and that totals out to 1620 damage output. I know that sounds like a clear winner but the fact that you pay more mana for the acid cloud needs to be considered as well. That being said with the reduced cost of zombie charger using the bears build you will be able to cast it more then you would be able to cast the acid cloud so you end up doing about the same damage per cost. The bears just work faster because its not damage over time and are therefore more effective if you can use them properly. In conclusion you must choose between being easier to use and hit mobs with or effectiveness. I suppose when blizzard removes the caves from the grifts my answer will change but until then I prefer acid cloud.
