There isn't really much to describe, as far as items go. Archon is pigeon-holed into a very specific set of gear. Short-sighted devs don't understand that a 6-piece set with only 6 pieces destroys any chance at alteration or freedom.

On Non-Seasonal, replace Stricken with Gogok.

For paragon points, because you will be in archon and you can teleport quite fast, I do not recommend adding additional movement speed. Put all points into mainstat.

Build Guide

This is the Wizard build for 2.3, as of 8/24/15 on the PTR.

This was the top performing build before you reach extremely high paragon to take advantage of mainstat vs. multipliers of the Del Rasha build. Until 1200+ paragon, this build will be better in every way.

Playstyle is simple:

1. Arcane Torrent, 20-stack Chantodo's.

2. Pop Archon.

3. Melee Attack/Blast Spam

4. After Archon, Torrent until 20 stack Chantodo's.

5. Repeat.

The most important part of this build is to NEVER die. Archon stacks must be maintained with The Swami, otherwise your defense will SEVERELY drop off, leaving you vulnerable.

It is important that you maintain slow time bubbles. Fracture from teleport helps a lot with that.

I also suggest that you create a macro for the 1 key. It will auto cast Archon blast, and it will put you back into Archon form ASAP, because the key maps for the two skills will be shared. Set on continuous cast, it will not interrupt the rest of your play.
